When I was there, the water was too low! Last October. Really enjoy all your videos.

Yeah this section of the river is rarely floatable past June. Occasionally it will rain enough in the summer or fall for it to be floatable but the water goes down quick in the dryer seasons. Thanks for watching our videos, glad you enjoy them! 😁

Looks like you had fun. Too much excitement for me. I prefer the river when it's a little calmer.

Great video! This one is the best I've seen giving a feel for what the water/rapids are like on the Buffalo. Choppier than I expected... is that pretty normal? We are hoping to do that section the first weekend in June. How does the river compare to this at that time of year? Keep up the great content!

The water level was high. It takes a good amount of rain to keep it flowing like that. The first weekend of June the more likely issue is the water won't be high enough to float without having to drag in a few places. It all depends on the weather the few days prior. I'll put a link to a handy gauge we sometimes use. There's also an app called River App that has water levels of rivers all over the world that I like. www.buffaloriver.com/pages/floating/current-buffalo-river-level/
