Kayaking down an epic micro gorge | Insane FPV Drone shots

Since my first time kayaking down this incredible little micro gorge on the Brandenburg river I thought how amazing it would be to find someone that could fly a drone down it.
Juli Strauss did an incredible job flying the Fpv drone in such a tight spot, in the rain and really brought this piece of river to life. Please follow him and his crews company in the links below. I really hope to keep crushing these sorts of shots on other rivers with Juli!

2 Jungs die Spaß haben.. man kann kaum erahnen, wer mehr ;-) Großartige Aufnahmen und als "Süßwasser-Flusswanderer-Kajaker" auch deine Fahrt sehr beeindruckend Flasche an der Drone - hab ich auch noch nie gesehen.. vor allem scheint das kaum zu bremsen, das Teil fliegt ja immernoch sehr wendig und flott ich hab meine letzten Winter aus 3m Tiefe im See raus-tauchen dürfen *lol*

I don't know how pro the pilot is, but maybe something to look into: I've seen a video where they relayed the signal via a repeater attached to a dji drone that's flying halfway at the corner so you can do much longer shots.

Just as your skill in kayaking is awesome, so is Juli's piloting. I kayak and I fly a drone too, but am amazed that he doesn't lose connection in a gorge like this. My drone is pretty useless if there are rocks in the way of the antenna.

Excellent! As a 47yo mountain biker, I'd like to retry kayaking after I did that when I was 14-17yo. I think that kayaking is to rowing what mountain biking is to road cycling: riskier but so funnier.

You guys should look into the Muddy Fork of the Cowlitz from Nickel Creek down. We almost died several times but you're better than us. 1st "known decent" possible. I'd love to see video of it run again. The guidebooks of old all walked everything. 20' & 40' falls & canyon so tight you cannot see the sky 100' up past canyon walls. October(ish) prolly only time surviveable. The whole river ran under granite inside the canyon in a toilet bowl when we did it. Higher it'd flow over. I have videos if you're interested.

Is that the Brandenburg river or the Brandenberger ache? I ran the Kaiserklamm and the following gorges a few years ago, but they didn't look anything like that coffee with cream colour! That was awesome footage of a really fun looking run! Really cool that you added that last bit of footage of the drone crashing into the water and you rescuing it! You really know how to keep your audience captivated, Bren!
