Great video! I have been thinking about doing just that. Now to find some people to go with.

How many people were there camping who were not with you while you were there? Nice video.b

What are the rules? Do you have to pay to camp on the Island, also what would be the parking address. I’m planning a trip in late May this looks like a wonderful adventure.

You don't have to pay to camp on the island. But you do have you pay to park. Park at Alley 3 boat ramp. It's fun! Bring plenty of water, sun block and bug spray. Cross at low tide and wear a PFD.

What time of the year were you there? I know there are times I'd like to avoid but would also like cooler times. Of course Hurricane season is out.

Do you need to pre register a site? Or is it first come first serve type of site? Thanks
@Hydrayak2 жыл бұрын
No preregistration is required on little tybee. You will have to pay for parking though. Which isn't cheap for the weekend.

I live in Savannah and camp at Little Tybee a couple times during the year. Always by myself. I want to sign up for this years event. What should I bring with me as far as food goes are dogs allowed?

Freaking Gorgeous, Been coming to Savannah/Tybee Beach for the last 8yrs, Savannah has stolen my heart. But I never knew that island existed. I'm always interested in the off beaten places, Will be coming back next August, Now you got me excited for a new adventure, I'm a History Buff and usually spend a day or two in Beautiful Savannah, But always take time for Tybee Beach. Great Job on the video, I was just strolling some Beaches that wasn't very well known and came across your channel, very well done 👏 👍, On a side note, I had the same issue with my sandals in Charleston S.C and like you said, I could hardly enjoy walking around, Very Painful. Safe travels and God Speed 😊 🙏

Have you ever kayaked down to hammock island on the other side of the island if so is it safe enough, what conditions are best to do it and how would you go about it safely.
@Hydrayak2 жыл бұрын
Yes. You'll want to paddle when the tide is out. If it's full in, you could get into some nasty water.

Love the videos, have done some Little Tybee kayak/camping only once before...but was enough for me to go purchase a 3Waters Bigfish108 (after Vibe was out of stock) and other equipment! believe myself and a few others may join GKF. (EFFINGHAM AREAS)

Awesome! Jekyll Island is coming up in October. That’s another popular saltwater trip that GKF hosts every year.
