Happy Sunday to both of you. That pizza looks delicious. Calming trip on the water. So many lost so much during Ian. Sad to still see the remnants of it. I've been thru two hurricanes in my RV and not so much as a scratch on it and yet homes built to withstand a hurricane have been leveled. Go figure. If you are still living there during lobster season you should think about getting your license and trying to get your limit. It is tiring but the reward is all the lobster you can legally keep. Stay safe and see you next Sunday.

We drive through Ft Myers Beach, Estero Blvd a few months after Ian and it was like a war zone. So sad and scary to see. I guess where it makes landfall and right on the ocean are the worst parts. Living in an RV during hurricanes must have been terrifying. It’s scary for me sometimes in a heavy rain because it’s so loud 😆 I can’t imagine what it’s like in a hurricane. We definitely want to try to get lobster! But we’re newbies and never did it before so we’ll see if we end up getting any! That would be awesome if we do!!

Is there Gators in that water or is it salt water ? Looks dangerous in those little kayaks !

This is salt water. I haven’t seen any gators in the keys yet except one in the Blue Hole in Big Pine Key and that’s a freshwater pond. It did look a bit more dangerous because of the wind and overcast weather but if it was 10 mph wind or less and a clear day, the water would be smooth and not as scary. We also hug the shoreline so it’s not as deep just in case 😁
