Great content. I don't mean to be weird, but where is Nick's Accent from? I knew another guy that had the same accent, but never did ask where he was from. His was somewhere in Canada, maybe? But, different than every other Canadian that I know. Nick has the same. Thanks.

By far one of if not the best truck camper for full time living. My only question is how do you bake meals?
@NickandJulie7 күн бұрын
Thank you! We do not bake. We only have the induction stovetop and the electric griddle. Only make food with those things. We have an air fryer but only use it when we are plugged into power and don’t even take it with us on most trips since it takes up so much room.
@JGDD71907 күн бұрын
@NickandJulie a video of your meal planning would be awesome. I still have my RV stove but have never lit the oven (I do have a toaster oven for baking) but I'd love to learn more stove top meals.

What a beautiful town! Curious...Have you guys ever been to Helen, GA? If so, which do you prefer? I've never been to either but just from pics and vids it seems Leavenworth is a nicer looking town.
@NickandJulie7 күн бұрын
We haven’t been to Helen yet but we should take the time to see it since it’s a little off the road for us when we go to Florida. Maybe we’ll go in the spring we’ll see!

Hi, we really enjoyed your reviews. We’re heading to Key West in a few weeks. Question, did you try the regular Key lime pie at Seaside as well or just the Pina Colada? What made it Pina Colada? We are thinking about Four Marlins too Thanks so much
@NickandJulie9 күн бұрын
Thanks! We only tried the pina colada key lime pie at seaside cafe. We haven’t tried the classic one. They don’t have a description of either on their menu so I’m guessing the pina colada one would have that crème topping and the regular one wouldn’t. It would just be a classic key lime pie. Sorry if that’s vague but their menu doesn’t have a description just the name and price.

I've been there a few times and seen a number of KZbin visit videos. I have never seen so few people there. That could be good or bad - no lines, no crowds, you can explore very leisurely. But some people like the hustle and bustle atmosphere a crowd gives - just raises the intensity of the experience, I guess. Personally, I would prefer a day like you had - very few people, sunny and warmish weather. Glad you enjoyed it. On my first trip there, I was reluctant because I didn't see the hype. But I was impressed with how all-in the town went. It wasn't just a few buildings with a facade. It was the whole town. And I think it was convincing, at least to me who has never been to Germany (Only Italy in Europe). I did have a good pretzel there though. Luckily my first trip was just a random weekend in the summer so only somewhat busy. I went once during Christmas time and it was pretty but too crowded. I think the other times were just random weekends. Don't think I was ever there during Oktoberfest. I do recall being there where it was so crowded that you had to 30 minutes for a beer.
@NickandJulie11 күн бұрын
Oh really?? 😆 glad we got to explore it this way a bit more laid back and not having to fight the crowds! From what I’ve seen online, it looks magical at Christmas too especially when there’s snow. But I would enjoy that for a few minutes and then get cold 😂 Oh yea they did the Bavarian theme really well! Have you been to Winthrop as well? It’s also a themed town but a western theme.

I did it in 2007 on a motorcycle. Crossing Atigun Pass to the Northern Slopes was surreal. All the "noise" of the world was left behind South of the Brooks Range. A stella moment of life surrounded by surreal beauty. Your photography captured it to a "T".
