I saw Kaytranada way back in 2014. By far one of the dopest shows ever honestly. His album 99.9% IS WAY AHEAD OF ITS TIME.

Discovered his work a couple months ago, a big leap out of my normal listening, I simply can not get enough. 99.9% is some of the best work I’ve ever heard. What an album, what a dude, what a fucking genius

“If you feel like you’re doing your thang, don’t let nobody talk down on you. If you feel driven in your heart & you really love what you do, go for it! Deep down in your heart, you know what you want. You gotta be able to take risks in life. DO OR DIE. What else will you be? Do what you love.” - Paraphrasing Kartranada 💛

I'll say this to those who also make music we know what we struggle with, and we know our weaknesses. Once you feel secure in your strengths then focus on the weaknesses, and let's be honest deep down you know what you should be doing. Much love.

AND then, ending the project with "Holy Hole Inna Donut" FUCK! That track gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. I'm glad there's a growing base for Kaytra, Man's a musical force.
