Facing a decent Saber is a nightmare for anyone playing a Meta Assassin, mm or mage, he's basically the Meta Killer Assassin. Even with defensive items, especially mid-late and late game, even that won't help especially if Saber gets the Jump of you. His basic attacks have a load of enhancement stacks, 1st skill+2nd skill+Blade of Hephaestus, makes Armor on squishy heroes useless, unless they have at least 2 physical defense items, not counting the boots. But if they do that, carrying will become difficult as they'll lack the needed damage. Saber is the purest form of an Assassin, prioritize who to kill, go in, kill, get out, rinse and repeat or roam about to kill off the stragglers of a Team fight.

It’s easy, just buy wind of nature if you mm (even better if you play Wanwan or use purify), if you play mage, use winter truncheon, if you jungle, use a pretty tanky jungler or assassins like Ling (use ult) that can have physical damage immunity, and if you play exp, just use a tanky hero. Yin is actually the best hero to feed the enemy, since he’s so easy to counter.
