Kazuya Crouch Dash tech I randomly came across that I am still trying to get down

Hopefully something like this can be the precursor to being able to Crouch Dash back and forth in Singles, like a Crouch Dash Dash Dance.

All I've wanted to do since week 1 is to be able to Crouch Dash back and forth like a Dash Dance, hopefully somewhat closer to getting there now.

Yeah actually I was just watching this the other day and when I come back to Kazuya after playing around with Terry a bit more, I wanted to work on this and the Crouch Jab infinite more LOL!

LOL ik it is kinda weird! It would be cool to be able to CD in singes like you can outside of it. Or even if they had an option to toggle auto-turn on/off for singles.

Thanks! So essentially you just cancel Crouch Dash with N,DB(hold for at least 5 more frames to fully transition to crouch) then you will have access to all your crouch attacks. To DGF you need to uncrouch for at least 1 frame and press A. You can also check out this video here kzbin.info/www/bejne/roWneWSwe6hri7s at about the 5:03 mark as well

@@ViedViper is this easier to do with the c stick method or just doing the shoryu input with one thumb cause when I tried I hold foward, flick the c stick down then hold the left stick forward again but for less frames than the first time then I do ↙️ right away

@@nile1790 Idk how well it works with c-stick method. If it does work with the c-stick method, might be a bit tough, but idk tbh. I don't c-stick CD anymore on box so I couldn't say for sure. Some techniques are just not doable/feesible with the c-stick/pad I just don't know if this technique is one of them

hey, do you know why kazuya sometimes slides after CDC while crouching and other times he stops perfectly still when crouching? I tried going frame by frame but theres just too man variables and places to go wrong to account for

It might be that you are cancelling with N then DB(hold) which should cause him to slide while crouching and sometimes you might be cancelling with N as your second input (i.e DB then N) then going into crouch which takes 2 extra frames to fully crouch and does not give you the slide while transitioning to crouch.

Doing many very quickly, maybe. But doing one or even a couple should be definitely doable on pad too
