Some additional notes about Peach's double jump: - If you double jump on the first frame you're airborne, and then hold down to float, you will end up floating at exactly ground level. This is much lower than a standard float you get from holding down and jump, and it allows you to land with quick nairs even faster than a normal float. It also lets you ASDI down into the ground while you are airborne. This is incredibly powerful because you get the benefits of being airborne (fast aerials, land cancels on moves like Falco and Falcon dair) while ALSO being able to ASDI down. Peach players call this a *subfloat*. - The other great part about that double jump on the first frame is that you can do it with direction. You can run to the right, double jump to the left, and then hold down to float, and what will happen is that you will take all of the momentum from double jumping left with you in your float. You can use this to gain speed incredibly quickly, as well as instantly change direction like a wavedash while going airborne instantly actionable. Peach players call this a *hyperfloat*. Here's an example of peach player Quetzalcoatl using a hyperfloat to quickly punish his opponent: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmmaap6Mabt1mKc

The GOAT is BACK Also Kirby's got those At 6:46 I would've liked to have seen a way to compare just the double jump + up-b hieghts too as you're referring to recoveries here, since you obviously can't use grounded jump in the air lol. Maybe with an additional marker at the first jump height, then cutting that away and lining up the remaining hieght lines could've been cool. But anyways Another outstanding video! Love the channel

0:30 I actually think Samus might be able to make it tbh. Since pichu was allowed specific conditions, I think if you do a daughter dash AKA goomy zoomy you can get crazy horizontal speed, and then you double jump -> rising grapple -> let go of grapple -> up-b. Now, I don't know if you can goomy zoomy while facing backwards so maybe you might have to do a CS turnaround but it still looks do-able IMO. IDK just theory crafting.

I'd said that Samus has one of the most diverse sets for recovery due to those techs. So I was suprised that she apparently is suppoaed to be unable, which sounds weird to be seeing the enormous height extendo grapple can give you. You are easily able to get under FD as well as Mewtwo.

Wrong. They ARE the original artist. For ALL the songs. The script, the graphics, the flow, the effortlessly engaging tone, the comedic timing, the accessibility right from someone who has never watched a game of competitive melee to someone like me who’s been following the scene for a decade - it’s insane. @@MeleeMoments I first heard it in TerminalMontage's Something About Super Mario World. I never realized the original context until recently, I always thought it was a Game Theory quote lol

I've watched this a few times now and it's unfathomable how much work probably went into making this 8 minute video.

I love you for this! Peach is my main. And yes she can make it without the bomb-omb. I've done it before a long time ago. You have to use her side b on the wall wait a brief moment then parasol the opposite direction and then press down immediately so she can grab the ledge backwards
