Well, he has played Kazuya very very little this entire time. Then again ALL the Underdogs are very prone to forgetting basic stuff about Characters even if they're brand new, because they often don't pay a lot of attention during the Character Presentations (since they film their live reactions), and then simply forget stuff on top of that if it's a Char they don't care about (which as a reminder, for the DLC was literally everyone except Steve) I remember for instance, during that "Free for Alls where everyone has to chase down one specific Opponent only" Video from a few weeks ago, Hopcat made an off-hand comment about Sora's Side-B, saying something along the lines of "Well, sorry, but I can't NOT have it be homing"...except that, as you might guess / know, yes you can.

Kazuya is one of those characters that gets more fun every time you play him because he has so many different moves and you can figure out how to incorporate something cooler every time. Thanks for playing him, was super fun on stream

At first he’s not fun because he’s hard and has so many moves, then he becomes fun because he’s hard and has so many moves but you’ve practiced a bit, then he stops becoming fun because he’s hard and only uses a few different moves in a real match and you always need to practice more because every hit should be death.

Not only does kazuya has tilts in 8 direction's he has 3 diferent tilts while crouching . And the god fist when transitioning from a crouch to a regular stand Not to mention the shoryuken motion has several different attacks attached to it Shoryu motion press a is wind god fist it's EWGF but bad Shoryu motion hold a it's a stronger, slower kill move Same motion but B is the low kick to left hook . Underused move tbh And that same motion and grab does a unique throw Kazuya has a fck ton of moves

A tip for doing EWGF or “the funny electric stun punch” is to do ➡️⬇️+🅰️↘️ and tap A and down at the same time and when doing down throw into ewgf is to do the input after the headbutt

Nah, best time to do ewgf is buffering it when you use a different move, as soon as you input down throw, buffer ewgf. Kazuya is born and raised on the buffer system

Kazuya I believe wins quite a few matchups, if you have a backpocket kazuya I would love to see you bring him out ONE TIME in a tournament when you actually become decent with him. Down throw, EWGF, falling Nair, demon god fist (aka the rising jab that stuns like focus attack but quicker), down back tilt (stature smash or "the trip move"), first hit of down forward tilt (Tsunami kick where he lifts his leg up to his head), EWGF, Up smash/ Up B/ Jump, Down B. @@Endershock1678 I prefer not to do it because the croutch jabs have a little bit of upward knockback and since DGF only stuns when opponents are on the ground, that wouldn't work (or I might just be doing it wrong, Idk). Something you can do is 2 croutch jabs after your falling Nair and then directly follow up with an EWGF. What I haven't tried yet is to run and grab right after the 2 croutch jabs, it might work and lead into more shenanigans since they stun you for a little bit.

How I input EWGF is I just slide the stick along the edges like I’m inputting Terry’s Power Geyser. Here’s the inputs I do: (Directional visuals) ➡️↘️⬇️↘️ + A (Fighting game terms) 6 > 3 > 2 > 3+A It’s genuinely surprising how easy it is for me to do it like this

If you think your Twitch viewers were making up Kazuya's moves, how about trying this one: Crouch first (regular neutral crouch, not the "wavedash" invulnerable crouch), then stand back up. While you're standing back up, press A do to a "rising crouch/standing crouch" attack. If done correctly, you'll use Demon God Fist. It's actually another one of his most broken moves!
