Reminds me of an interview Harada did before, they had very little budget for Tekken 1, a lot of crew themselves did the voices for the characters and as most have noticed, a lot of the characters in Tekken 1 except for Paul, Michelle and Wang shared voices.

Fun fact tekken 1 took place in 1995 the same year it released on the ps1… Kaz alternate outfit with the sneakers is a play on his hobby collecting sneakers and seeing heihachi upset. The events of tekken 3 take place in 2015… making 2017/2018 around the time tekken 4-7 should occur. Tekken 3 took place after Jin 19th birthday 2015… two years later tekken 4 2017… tekken 5 couple months later… so 2018 onward should be the years of tekken 6-7

Rage system has been around since tekken 6 and tbh its a pretty cool feature if you ask me, makes the round more tense and unpredictable, meaning more fun. Plus it also lets you pull off sick combos with good damage.
