Cheerleading is a sport all about flexibility and power. A cheerleader must be able to explode with balance and control. The best way to achieve this is being flexible enough so that your muscles do not restrict your movements and throw your center of balance off when you reach the end of your range of motion.
Use our Kbands Training stunt strap to improve your flexibility. Work through the exercises listed in the video and improve you hamstring, groin, glute, and low back flexibility. Hold each exercise for 15-20 seconds and complete two holds per move. Push your flexibility. You must work where it pulls to increase your range of motion. Also check out our website linked above for individual training on specific stunts every needs to improve on.

Your right. If you keep your hips where they are supposed to be this will really challenge your flexibility.

Absolutely. Flexibility can be achieved easy with commitment, the right stretches, and a good warm up. Just remember to follow the last step. Get a little sweat before you start stretching for more range of motion. This way your body will respond quicker. Good Luck!

It all depends on your beginning flexibility. But it shouldn't take long. Do this a couple times a week and let me know how it goes.

You will increase your flexibility dramatically with 3 times a week for a month.

I'm very inflexible and I'm stretching everyday.. and ive got a few improvement but nothing is working faster. I'm trying to make the cheer team but I need better jumps...will those stretches help?

@IsTheSkyUp That she is, but you will not gain flexibility unless you work on it. This stretch routine is very good for stretching your hips, hamstrings, glutes, and IT bands.

@ashley125560 with stretching you can improve your heel stretch within a week. That's about how long it will take to improve your flexibility. Stretch two times a day after a short warm up and you will see improvements.

You know what's so crazy? I have been trying to touch my toes (with straight legs) everyday for 3 days and I can already feel a difference! :)

Thank you so much!! I lost my bow and arrow when I did not stretch for a year, so I was doing my left splits like crazy, but they didn't work... So I tried the first method and I got it back in two weeks!!! I can not thank you enough!!

I'm trying out for cheer leading at my future high school and I wanna become flexible like her will that take longer than a month for me to become like that if I practice 3 times a week

Correction if you want to be a good flyer you need to be extremely flexible if your not planning on being a flyer flexibility is great for jumps but you dont need to be uber flexible
