Not just your average ordinary Corvette, the ZR1 has extra special stuff up not just one but both sleeves. Rules were meant to be broken, sometimes, but Micah Muzio has a job to do, and one he'd like to keep, so follow along as he tests the limits of the Corvette ZR1without pushing them too much.

Its faster on a track, looks and sounds better (subjectively), is cheaper and American made so hell yea I'd choose the Vette. And at this point i think the ZR1 is *far* more rare than a huracan... Everyone in any rich area owns a huracan!

@@VoIPPortland at certain angles and depending on the spec of the car.. It's all subjective.. The huracan looks fat and "basic lamborghini" at some angles.. The ZR1 looks "poorly modded C7" at some angles.. But overall in my opinion the vette wins hands down.. *WAY* more aggressive looking... So it wins... Looks like it wants to tear your face off... Hitting the speed limit with haste? Well, I can't speak for the rest of the states, but here in Florida we have "show of speed". That's right, boys and girls, if you rev your engine or accelerate quickly you can get a ticket. I drive a very modified Z06 and have been pulled over TWICE for, what the officer stated as, "leaving a stop sign too quickly". I never went over the speed limit and, since I have almost 800hp, I actually barely got on it. I didn't get a ticket either time because I think even the cops know it's a crock of sh*t but I had to sit on the side of the road with the flashy lights behind me as all the other motorists drove by and smiled. Steer clear of Florida. Anyway, fun post. Cheers.

We don't have a law like that here in Kentucky, but I too have been pulled over for accelerating too fast while being under the speed limit. I drive an 03 Acura TL with only 200-ish horsepower and still pulled over for "aggressive driving" when no one was around on a bright, clear day. I was never ticketed, but still. Asshole cops!

Well, tell that to the cops here in NWFL. While I've always had fast (and loud) cars, in my 48 years I haven't had a single ticket so I'm not a crazy driver but I have been pulled over twice for what both officers (one county, one city) called "show of speed". They both used the same term. I've even talked to other people at car shows and in clubs in this area who have been pulled over the same way. Each time they were asked to step to the back of the vehicle, given the "show of speed" lecture and released with no ticket. Maybe it's just an agreed-upon scare tactic in this area if the car is loud and/or looks like they might drive fast. I've got all the respect in the world for law enforcement, my grandfather retired from the NYPD, and it's a thankless job, so no bone to pick. Thanks for your service. Cheers.

@THE TRACKCAR I guess it depends on what you consider a fast car... 450whp crx? 660whp Evo 9? Charger hellcat? 997 turbo s? Ls7 swapped nb Miata? The wife's Cayman gt4? I guess those are the cars I would consider "fast" that I've owned/own over the last 5 years or so... All were absolutely brilliant on a track day, or going to a runway race. The thing is, in anyone of them, using more than 30% of the potential on a public highway will land you in jail quicker than duck shit. My little fiesta St with a few choice mods I can drive like a manic in the middle of the city, have a blast hooning the shit out of every trip to the store and no one looks twice at me while I'm grinning like a pig in shit.

This is one of the press cars. It's been beat on relentlessly by quite a few people who are more than willing to beat on it just because it's not theirs so of course it's going to show flaws like the trim on the door getting a bit loose. This particular car was meant for this kind of abuse from the press. And for the price you pay it's the best in the world.

Craig Smith "Automatics win races, manuals impress high school girls." Not only did you lift that quote from somebody else's video, it's 100% wrong. Not only are high school girls not impressed with manuals, you only get a manual if you enjoy actually driving the car. Automatics are for lazy people who want the car to do the driving for them. And if you're buying a car to be in rush hour traffic literally 100% of the time you're driving it, you're not buying a Corvette for that. Common sense, man.

GM's quality control is absolute garbage. The worst part is that you see that in pretty much every American performance offering, not just GM. I was watching a Dodge Challenger Hellcat review where the gap between the hood and the body had to be at least an inch off. Sure, V8 performance cars are fun, but at that price point, I at expect for the car to be built properly and NOT have be fixed before it's off the dealer's lot! Hell, I test drove a 2017 Ford Mustang GT with only 8,000 miles on it and it had all kinds of rattling from loose plastic interior bits. Needless to say, I wasn't going to buy that car. Is it really so damn hard for manufacturers to implement QC with their performance vehicles?

@@tenhundredkills - I just got rid of a 2015 Yukon Denali. Almost $80k when brand new. I bought it used with 42K miles on it. The build quality on it was "absolute garbage". I had more problems with that thing in six months of ownership than I had out of my four previous GM cars combined! I did all my homework...checked the CarFax, contacted the dealership who did all the service on it. No red flags. Of course, having 42K miles on it, there was no factory warranty. I had the following issues, all within a six month period with the first issue, (the shark fin antenna malfunctioned) in the first three weeks of ownership: Shark fin antenna leaked, causing the XM and Nav to malfunction and had to be replaced ($350), interior A pillar molding literally just fell off one day and needed to be replaced ($100), exterior trim around 3 out of 4 the windows came loose and all had to be replaced ($375), A/C compressor failed and was replaced ($1200) the battery died (never had to replace a battery, ever this soon in a vehicle's life cycle, so I included it $200) and the straw that broke the camel's back was a front strut leaked and needed to be replaced ($1000). I ended up trading it in on a Ford F-150 Platinum. I couldn't give GM another dime after I saw the crap they are putting on the road these days!

Eric Hampton "That's exactly what I'm saying, Champ!" Except that's not what you're saying. Because this is what you said: "Would I be strange if I were to remove the wing?" Do you see the words "remove the wing"? That's not you saying "I won't buy the ZTK kit", that is you saying "I WILL buy the ZTK kit and then remove the wing." You know, because of the words "remove the wing".
