Why do these reviews not have IP ratings, especially for people who live in places like Florida? In the summer, one can get caught in the rain involuntarily and it would be great to know we can get home.

This is by far the best e-bike review chanel I’ve found on KZbin. I especially like the standard speed and range tests that are consistent and very helpful when trying to choose between bikes. At times, however, the presentation seems overly optimistic. In this particular review I believe although you mentioned that the brakes were good mechanical ones, you rightfully pointed out that most cargo bikes used hydrologic brakes. Stating that it might work ok if you didn’t put too much more weight on the bike is counter to its function as a “cargo” bike. Your suggested solution of upgrading here would, I doubt, make much financial sense. Another issue is the speed test where PAS 1 only gave you a 1MPH bump In previous reviews you used the next highest PAS level for your range test.l when this occurred. Not the case here. Also you didn’t list the average speed in the range test as you have done in most other reviews I’ve seen. This suggests that the test may have yielded even less than the 10mph in PAS1 achieved in your speed test. These factors along with the frame flex you outlined and the ghost pedaling it appeared you experienced, make this a hard pass for me I will also admit for the record that my experience with KBO customer service on the very first e-bike I purchased was less than stellar.

After numerous 30+ mile rides , I changed out the seatpost to a suspension seat post . Also added gel seat cover . Without front suspension , I found longer rides after 450+ miles to be less than ideal on / off road .

I believe the Altus derailleur is an upgrade from the standard Tourney model.

That is correct!

that downtube to head tube junction looks flexy and potentially unsafe
@ElectricBikeReport8 ай бұрын
Definitely a bit flexy.

I’ve seen much stronger looking joints there. Odd given the rest of the frame looks sturdy. Well, I’d prefer some reinforcement for the top of the seat tube as well. Especially suspect on a cargo bike with a rigid fork.

Can you recommend an infant seat that will fit this?

I can't get onboard with the bamboo

Not sure if you meant that as a pun, but if so, you got a chuckle. Everyone at the EBR office loves a good dad joke. :)

Was wondering, what was the hill angle, is it about 30 degrees?
@ElectricBikeReport5 ай бұрын
A 12% grade is about 7 degrees.

Our contact at KBO told us "not yet" so we hope to see that happen soon.

Ah yes another cargo bike without rear suspension to protect your cargo from damage. Very nice. Smh.

Any with rear suspension you've seen and liked?
@helix92688 ай бұрын
@@ElectricBikeReport they don't exist because reviewers like you don't mention it.

TBF, the only cargo or utility ebike I’ve seen with rear suspension is from Cake. And that one costs more than their usual expensive models. Not that I’d mind a rear suspension! Many do offer the option of a suspension fork, but many also come with a rigid fork. I have seen some moped style ebikes with dual suspension with modest cargo capability.
