I really like the unit. I don't think any "survival" show can rival this. I won't ever get tired of re-watching every episode. Their bond and friendship is just honestly too strong. The fact that they can relate with each other made them a big family that I really just want to support each one of them. They don't bring down each other but instead root for them. Everyone knew how hard it is to survive in the industry and given this second chance, they just became each contestant's support system. Today, I've almost searched each member and subscribed and followed them because they deserve it. Everyone in this show deserved that. it just makes me sad that people still don't realize that. Their sincerity and attitude to achieve their dream is different from others and i felt that. Maybe im being overdramatic but i mean what im saying hehe. Also, please support our Euijin for his comeback! :))

Watched this for the 4th time Jun is worthy of 1st place. He is the epitome of someone who needs a 2nd look at along with his group UKISS of the 9 UNIT B members these are the ones that are truest deserving Jun Euigin Hojung Feeldog Daewon and Hansol ( since he was in SM for yrs) This is because this was suppose to give 2nd chances to idols who’ve been around for more than 3 yrs which these 6have. Chan Marco Kijung have been idols less than 2 to 3 yrs. They should’ve gone on PD101 and NU’EST should’ve additioned for the UNIT. Rewatching this I honestly believe that Chan deserved the Top 9 spot.Not saying the others didn't but as bad KBS didn't give Chan screentime etc and his rank was always low because of it. It was so bad that many people believed that Chan was a dancer and not a vocalist when indeed he is a main vocal, KBS made him look like a dancer. Instead of complaining about the contestants who didn't make it, we should be happy for the "failed" idols that got in, like Yang Jiwon, Woohee, Feeldog, etc., I was rooting especially for Dalshabet's Woohee, who I believe is being slept on by international fans. That girl, aside from being one of the strongest vocalists and dancers in the group, and having taken the main rapper role w/o even rapping before, has worked so hard for 6 years in the industry and struggled so much with her group. I was also sad b/c of Semmi and Euna since they were my biases along with Yeoeun from the beginning, but let's try to be positive and support the winners! They need it!

They'll do commercials, but yes, they'll probably do performances together as a group. Not sure for how long, but that was kind of the point of the show, to make two groups in order to promote the members. As for one commercial they'll do, it's a Burger King commercial.

*The top 18 of both Unit G and Unit B were just so talented.* I just can't help but feel a little disappointed that a few of the contestants I wanted didn't get selected but I'm still happy for the ones that did get selected. They deserved it. All of them did. In the end it all came down to the votes . To have reached all the way to the finals among 126 contestants initially, these 36 finalists made it and that's amazing. The Unit was really the best reality show among all the other idol survival shows. They even got to perform at KBS Song Festival 2017 and KBS Drama Awards 2017. No other shows did that. The contestants became friends and helped each other improve and work out their hardships. They were all genuinely happy for one another when they were selected. Even though they were all competing against each other from the start, they eventually became a family. The mentors were also nice but strict at the same time and always gave advice for them to improve. Rain was the perfect mentor for this show, it was visible how he always encouraged them for their betterment, "Every one of you is special." You can see how close the mentors, Rain, Hwang Chi Yeol, HyunA, San E, Jo Hyun Ah, and contestants were just by watching the episodes and even the finale. They joked around yet we're always serious about their work and performances. The Unit did a great job at promoting the contestants and giving all them chances to showcase their unique personal talents. It's 2020 and I still really, really hope they make a season two.

This programme is just the best, I love the concept, they gave a chance to those idols who weren't so famous and also there weren't only boys but also girls, it's just on another level and I can't stop watching it again and again. After a long time I'm watching it again and it bring me back memories, I love this show.

I certainly wasn’t expecting Chan’s ranking & I’m not sure if he or anyone else was either, but I hope everyone can agree that his ranking is something that he definitely deserves. There are a number of contestants who I (like many others) am sad didn’t make it, however, whether it be his prowess as a main vocal, his talent as a dancer or the fact that the he’s actual sunshine, I honestly believe Kang YuChan’s spot in UNB is something he earned through hard work & perseverance. Side note, but I like to imagine WowDongSon (aka the other 3 members of A.C.E who went on the rival audition program) & CEO HyeIm all watching the show together & collectively losing their shit when Chan’s name was called. 💕🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵💕

I seriously don’t see the point in complaining about the top 9 bc they all worked hard on the show and people voted for them! To me the entire point of this show was to give idols a second chance to prove themselves to the world and to promote their groups(unless I’m mistaken, but I don’t think I am). I don’t believe that they had to be in the final group to be given their second chance because this show opened my eyes to so many other groups even though the members didn’t make the final 9. And so, I will try my best to support ALL of the groups that appeared in the show and continue to support many more. Go UNB and UNI.T!! Thank you to all of the contestants and their hard work! Honestly, yeah. Although many like to complain The Unit hadn't made a good impression on 'rebooting' old idols, it definitely has done its job to open others' eyes to other groups that had made its way to the 21st generation as its own. i don't believe 'rebooting' means that the idol should have made his/her way to the top nine, but to let the world know about them and showcase their musicality that survived the dramatic changed this generation. P.S ; this means we're on the right, track, isn't it? lolol

@@miZ_dream yes it was supposed to reboot “old idols” so I really don’t know why some of them got to join when they debuted the same yr as when the UNIT was televised Hyunjoo Yebin and Suji from UNIT G should’ve not been on the show they debuted less than 3 yrs before this show was announced. The other 6 had debuted at least 4 or more yrs when this was announced. As for UNIT B these 3 should’ve not made it in. Marco, Kijung, and Chan. All 3 debuted less than 6 months before the UNIT was televised

UNI.T was fine since almost all of them had started long before, but it was those in UNB that bothered me, _not_ because they weren't worth those spots, but because they were all recent and still had chances to become big. Also, I don't really have a problem with Hyunjoo, Yebin and Suji. They are still struggling idols who needed their name put out there, DIA was about to disband, THE ARK broke up at its peak, and Hyunjoo left APRIL... for unknown reasons. Idk, I'm a WooU. Might be a little biased here but at least all of them didn't debut _in the same year_ THE UNIT televised. All this to say.... it's hard for me to not repeatedly watch this show because so many artists here are talented _and_ experienced. It hurts to know so many of these groups are _still_ struggling and may have disbanded already. Thanks for putting your 2 cents into this!

The Unit was a beautiful journey in an alternative universe well all the underrated idols were appreciated enough but now that it has come to the end, I think I'll take my time to accept the reality where they're still kinda nobodies. I'm so sad for the remaining 18 members, especially Seyong (I just really wish he'd got in), Rockhyun, Jiwon, Semmi, Timoteo, JeUp and actually everyone TT I think I'll just to and check all the candidates to find out which group they were in because I really need to start stanning them all.

I think Euna Kim should of made it to one of the top 9 for Unit. She is seriously so talented. She can sing, rap, dance, and she has very good leadership skills. I'm a little disappointed but its okay because I believe she will have a very important role later down the road in the Kpop/music industry. I wish the best for her. Euna really deserves it... The purpose of this show was to give a second chance for people who already debuted bit failed because of whatever reason... Euna Kim and all the the ark girls really fought hard to revive in the industry, from Minju who tried her hand in K-pop star season 6, Suji and Jane in idol master kr, and finally Euna who tried unpretty rapstar 3 and the unit, she really deserves to have a reboot chance... Im not saying that the current line up of uni.t doesn't deserve their spot, but someone like hyunjoo who leave the idol career on her own is MAYBE less deserving than Euna... This girl suffered so much I can't even imagine how strong is her mind to be able to stand up on stage again...
