I genuinely feel so sorry for Boss Yang and Boss Kim, they're struggling so much, looking for ways to keep their businesses alive, especially Boss Yang. I can tell they feel bad about this, not being able to pay their employees but what makes it worse is that they don't have much of a choice but to really just stick it out and hope this pandemic ends really soon.

Seeing how Boss Yang cares for all of them and how they care for him is really heart warming. Boss Yang is always being frugal and makes them work out too much some days, but you could really see how much he cares for all of them and how he is trying his best to care for them during these hard times. Them taking him out to eat was really nice to see too since they know he loves to eat 🥺 Edit: I know he saves money for good reasons, especially now since their income isn’t as big as before due to the pandemic. He saves money to help his gym grow and his trainers have a better workspace (since that gym is their workplace). Edit 2: I didn’t make this comment regarding off camera things. I know some people are completely different off camera and vice versa. I was commenting on what I know from what I’ve watched, and that’s how I felt while watching this clip and many other clips. I do personally think Boss Yang and his trainers are like family off camera and that Boss Yang is a good person, but then again it’s what I think. Everyone has their own opinion and I’m not trying to change other opinions, it’s not my place.

Mystic Mayhem I beg to differ. I’ve worked with Samsung and Hyundai corporate offices and the mentality is that, “I’ll pay you so you and your family can survive, but I’m going to work your ass off to the point where you’ll gain unhealthy weight, keep you away from family, and talk to you however way I want to.” Of course, these guys can’t gain weight due to their job and competition. But I’m Korean myself, and I could not handle the constant cussing aimed towards me for no apparent reason. They may have been paying me, but that does not mean that they can’t treat my like a human being. I’m sorry, but his way of managing just gives me PTSD.

As we watched him always being such a cheapskate but it's nice to see that tho they were treating him to a meal. He doesnt want them to pay additional cost. Usually people would just take it since they arent the one paying for it and $1 is a small amount but you can see that he isnt selfish or being self entitled. A persons true character is revealed through tough times. them always teasing and complaining about him for being frugal but they didn't know that he was trying to save money for tough times like this. I've always been a big fan of Boss Yang cause hes a tough teddy he may seem strict and harsh on the outside but hes a caring person on the inside with a heart of gold. when he said '' we should stick together through tough times'' the employees reaction said it all boss yang is the best. He's not a person that likes to hear praises he was embarrassed when the employees were trying to say thank you😂 his character reminds me of a tough love father. The dumpling and bun part had me dying😂 how he closed the lid so quick when he heard $1 it was funny but heartwarming at same time cause he knew it would cost his employees extra money. Boss Yang n his fitness crew is the only reason why i watch this show. fighting 💪💪💪💪💪

Boss Yang is incredibly generous. From what I understand, he’s been paying their monthly salary this whole time they’ve been closed. Paying for their rent for the month is extra. I hope his business surges once restrictions ease up and gyms are allowed to reopen.

Its the devil edit that they do that make him seems to be petty. Now remembering I have never seen him talking about how he been treated his staffs off camera. When the casts angry or found him frustration he always smiling. When he asked staffs to work over time they always willing to help, they might be complaining it on camera but I think they do not take that seriously. Its all make sense now.

They do that often on korean tv shows, but this is boss in the mirror, it’s suppose to make bosses reflect on their actions. And this might be why they’re doing the devil edit, to point out their flaws too, even if they’re generally not like that. Like CEO Kim is most probably not like how she’s perceived on this show, because why would her coworkers work for her for 10-15 years, if she was truly a “mean” boss.
