But, she failed to understand how much pains these celebrities and Idol stars has endured to get to where they are. For her, She started training herself by taking classes, which is good, but she is missing the natural talents. Many successful singers are gifted to begin with, combined with their blood sweating and tears, they become great. I don't think she has that "wow" factor.

i think it was important that Eric talked to her. Before he went to Korea, he had just finished getting his masters in Georgia. He had a job position just waiting for him to take. He jad the perfect life set out for him, but he threw it away to chase his dream of singing. And in order to be successful, he had a channel. He auditioned. He succeeded. He became an MC for shows, his own shows, and at other events like KCon. And he still makes his own music. Its good to chase your dreams, but you have to know HOW to chase your dreams and you have to actually do the action of chasing.

I mean, a lot of people depend on their parents for money when they haven’t found a steady job yet. Her biggest problem is that she has no plan. She should be continuously searching for jobs related to her field, taking up part time jobs just to make money, trying her best to not depend on her parents as much, and having a solid backup plan. There’s no embarrassment in continuing to pursue your dreams into your late 20s and early 30s and there’s no embarrassment in needing help from your parents because honestly a lot of people do. But you should be trying your hardest instead of going on a couple auditions every now and then and hoping eventually one of them will click.

I'm not going to say it's impossible for her to succeed as a singer, but her attitude is definitely going to have to change before anything can come to fruition. Just like one of the guest hosts said you can't expect to break into the entertainment industry if you're too scared of failing because before you succeed you fail A LOT. It's essential to keep practicing, keep busking, keep promoting yourself, keep auditioning. Her mom paying for everything is a huge hinderance of that because the girl hasn't actually experienced any real adversity towards her dream. Subconsciously she knows that there is no risk or anything to worry about because 'at least I still have mom paying for me'. She has a really selfish mindset and after they questioned her, it's clear that she didn't necessarily have a game plan in place (the fact that she's only just now considering avenues like busking and KZbin videos says a lot). Like they said, just because you're good at singing doesn't necessarily mean that you can become a singer. You literally have thousands and thousands of people to compete with, these companies and audition shows need to have a reason to back you, there has to be something to bring to the table. But if you're going to go up there and sound like some other singer than there's no point.

Imitation is fine, but if you want to be you as an artist you have to make time and find your voice. It will be extremely hard. For her age it is more hard. I am honestly making the same expressions as Eric's and probably cringing even more. Singing well doesn't mean you will be a successful singer but also you have to work for it and a career is a journey. Eric didn't get to where he was with talent alone, he hustled, he did KZbin to get recognition and took on so many odds and ends jobs like an idol would to put his name out there all at once when he was pursuing his career. I think he gave great advice, to stand out you have to go on a self reflection: what is my style unique to me? Why am I pursuing this? There is so much more besides concerts, songwriting, that goes into building this career - lots of highs and lows, things worth having are earned and worth doing, there isn't any time for rest in a idol schedule whether youe famous or not, there is always so much to do to perfect your craft.

She's got talent!! Even if imitating other singers can be helpful, you still need to find your own style tho. There's no shortcut to this, she really has to focus on the small goals that lead her to her big goal.
