I'm very surprised to see a golden retriever this aggressive (I'm not saying that there can't be aggressive gold retrievers) :/ But, having to grow up with one and knowing that golden retrievers are usually kind and friendly this really hurts me within :( I hope the family has learnt a valuable lesson

This family makes me frustated. Esp, the parents. They keep babying him and crying while he was being trained. Also they couldn't accept that their dog has a bad behaviour and keep making an excuses for him, very foolish and selfish 😤

It feels like the family didn’t train her properly and let a lot of « bad » behavior slide.... rather than training/discipline the dog when she does something she should not they rather stop doing the thing that provoked her reaction (e.g. the mom just tells the dad to stop touching the plant... how would that ever lead to her stop barking and showing aggressive behavior when you touch the plants?). They seem like they give in to her way too much, a dog needs certain boundaries

As a dog owner, I’ve seen my dog be angry at people who were scared of him. It’s almost as though dogs can see the fear in eyes and get irritated by it. Maybe that’s why this dog is aggressive towards it’s owners because they’re scared of her while being friendly with hosts because they seem a lot more calmer. Idk though, just a theory.
