This is my favorite of all the clips on KZbin. The chirography is wonderful! If you notice at 4:00, they do an homage to the "Keep On Truckin!" man, popular in the 1970s by R. Crumb. And those bell bottoms! They were all the rage!

A #1 hit for K.C. and The Sunshine Band in August 1975. It also hit #1 on the Rhythm & Blues charts, the Cash Box charts, and the Record World charts. It went to #6 on the Disco charts. Outside the US, it went to #1 in Canada, #5 in The Netherlands, #13 in Belgium, and to #21 in the United Kingdom.

@@cooper7931 do you actually know the exact amount of cocaine that was used in the US in 1977? And were you there when KC was using his ‘12%’ that you claim? Did you measure it, weigh it? Keep track of it? I mean, that would be an awful lot to do. It’s a free country (at least for now still) and yeah, you can say anything. But just because you CAN say it doesn’t mean you SHOULD - especially when there’s no way you could possibly know. Besides, it’s just an incredibly shitty thing to say about someone. If you were actually around in 1977 then you’re old enough to know better. So do better. Grow up. 🙄🤦🏼♀️
