My tenth birthday was the absolute best because my mother took me to see KC and the Sunshine Band. It was my first concert and it was fantastic. I'll never forget it. Mainly because it was a special time with my mom. I'm 55 now and mom's been gone 22 years but nothing will ever erase that memory.

This was not my time. When I was a kid we heard these songs on the radio, but that was it. I remember KC, but my time was the 80s. However a LOT of artists from the 60s & 70s were performing in the 80s which was the New Wave era, AND the advent of Rap. Now I don't listen to music much anymore except for Eric Satie.
