This album came out when I was 13. I loved this song so much that i had to buy the album. It was my first album that I purchased myself. It was just so cool. That opening sound was a sped up guitar. I could not figure it out for years. I still have my original platform shoes in my closet.

That's a workout just to watch that video. I remember dancing the night away during the disco ages and I think we had to burn our clothes the next day, as they were so covered in sweat from having so much fun at the disco bars. The only other band that will wear you out watching them besides KC were the TALKING HEADS. Crazy powerful stuff. Couldn't beat the '70s. Man oh man did we have fun hitting the bars and partying the night away on the weekends.

Always, but yeah: I feel you about right now especially. The world definitely needs a dose of KC & The Sunshine Band and, ideally, this specific electrifying, cathartic, brilliant performance.

I wasn’t into disco back in the day, and I’m kind of sorry I wasn’t because I would have loved to have seen this band live. I just wasn’t at a point where I could appreciate them - but now I do! Unlike the garbage today, this was talent. Absolutely unbelievable performance.

Lee Sher..My husband & I saw them three times in an oldies but goodies concert during the 1990’s & early 2000 era. They sounded great! They still sound great in 2023! ❤️🙏🏻⭐️👍

Yeah, they had REAL drumming from Robert "Shotgun" Johnson, who was EXCELLENT, instead of electronic, robotic "trash". I'm SAD he was the first to pass back in 1983, as GOOD as he was, there is almost NO information on him! (Why is that?) 🤔

I remember listening to KC in the 70's but never got into it. I was consumed with all the rock n roll bands here in oz. Now listening all the time to KC, I've realized what a musical genius he is.

I had that with Queen they were on the charts but I was into funk n jazz at 16, 17yrs old and KC and the sushine band of course. Naturals natural funk kings.
