I was a kid during this era, and I remember that everybody danced. If you were out in the club, you dressed to the nines and you danced all night.

To the creator of this channel: I cannot describe the immense joy I get from watching these clips of Soul Train dance line with the great music over it. As a kid growing up in the 70s in Washington D. C., watching Soul Train at 5 pm every Saturday was mandatory. Thank you for doing this. Something I never knew I needed and loved until you created it and brought it to the world ❤

We saw KC and the Sunshine Band back about 25 or years ago at a casino venue. We had a absolute blast !!! There's was nobody sitting !! Everybody was up and dancing and singing !! People so happy and forgetting their troubles. For a couple of hours, we were all teenagers back in the 70's !!!

You know, this is what people who were young in the 70’s are likely most grateful for…the fact that they weren’t afraid to be enthusiastic and engaged and actually could have a good time without staring at a phone or needing to be constantly thrilled. The young generation today is perpetually bored, sounds miserable.

I never like it when other music than the original is placed under the Soul Train Line routine. But... watch at 0:42, and look what Jeffrey Daniel does. Man, that's outstanding! Jeffrey and Shabba-Doo were my favourite male dancers at Soul Train. Those two always stood out from the rest. :-)
