I worked crowd control for them at Disney World in 1976. They performed in front of Cinderella’s castle. And I can tell you they were awesome! Powerful performance! And the crowd at that time loved them. Made me a fan on the spot!

Me and my husband saw KC in Palm Springs.After the concert, he spoke to me 5 mins, He was very thoughtful, My mom passed away two days prior at 98 years old. She loved KC and his band, he kissed my hand, I'll always remember his kindness

Most of the original band members are dead. KC tours regularly, only Covid stopped him temporarily. They're doing a disco cruise in Feb. Fermin Goytisolo (percussion) is the only original band member besides KC, who is still with the band.

Before house music , Hip hop , there was K C and the sunshine band there no one who hasn't heard his hits and danced to it , Him and lot of Rock roll , salsa , jazz , actors would run thru the old neighborhood in the 70's in Brooklyn NY I MET HIM AT THAT time .It help me to appreciate good morals and giving those The benefit of the doubt and respect people.
