I just picked up the Stahlwille 4000QR quick release 1/4 drive handle, last week. I was upgrading my 30 year old Craftsman acetate handle. Also bought a cheap Capri 1/4 rachet that I like a lot. The release button to put on and take off the sockets is a great feature, I love it. I'm tempted to get that little Stahlwille set as it's cheaper than buying the rachet alone.

just wanted to comment. anecdotally i have picked up all of their flexheads.. i really enjoy their kind of industrial feel. the flex broke twice in the 3/8 and once in the 1/2 (flip the pin and it keeps going) , attempted to purchase the flex pieces from the stahlwille factory and the told me to go f myself. they only sell what is in the catologue. have replaced their items with japanese items. i work near a large legacy carrier aviation shop and they purchased torque wrenches from stahlwille and over time not a single tech will say a nice thing about them. that ratchet is made by bahco, they produce for stahlwille and snapon, look at them side by side and its easy to see they are the same tool with different skin

I like the Stahlwille set, the foam and case are robust. I do not have any Stahlwille ratchet yet, but the next buy will be from Stahlwille.

Nice! I considered buying the Stahlwille but I have a number of Wera sets so I passed. It's a good deal though. I have the same 1/4" SAE Wera set - but I added 3 more - 9/16" plus a couple of 32" fractional sizes. I also have the Wera 3/8" SAE but i put mine in a foam set I put together.

Nice set! I almost bought it a couple times. When it came out as the advent calendar, I didn’t like it because I didn’t come with a bottle opener! Haha!

Im interested in the ratcheting screwdriver, is the metallic looking switch ring real metal?

Very sad for me to see, that Stahlwille brings more stuff from Taiwan and sells them like German made tools. I have met similar stubby screwdriver shown in this 1/4 set, made by KS tools and Wurth and they cost twice cheap than ''German Made Stahlwille''. I have nothing wrong with Taiwan made tools, but i hate the case, when Taiwan made stuff has German made or USA made cost... As i see the bits are also made somewhere else, but not in Germany... This is very sad...
