This hits hard because I’m a die hard UCLA fan!! My dad went to UCLA and Bill is our goat with Kareem. Rest in Peace 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽😔 I watch every UCLA game and support always. Bill will be missed

The Big Red Head! I still remember him as color commentator for the LA Clippers wayyyy back in the day. Dude was crazy funny! RIP :(

Bill was also a hell of a bicyclist. One of my buddies rode either a 100- or 200-mile ride through the California desert alongside Bill, and Bill was wearing a big smile in the photo he showed me. Incredible guy and athlete who had a wonderful spirit and zest for life. I found Bill's Grateful Dead stories hilarious. Such a Dead Head! RIP, Bill, from a fellow Bruin alumnus.

Freshman were ineligible to play so Bill Waltons sophomore and Junior years T UCLA the Bruins Were undefeated 60-0 or 61-0 Two more National Titles for UCLA7 in a row 9 out of 10 before losing to North Carolina State in Double OT in the Semifinals Bills senior year. According to ESPN 30-30 the loss that troubled Bill the rest of his life. UCLA was 86-4 when Bill played for UCLA. Incredible!!!’
