11:50 bro when the guy with the microphone laughed I would've rolled my window up and started listening to music until the officer came back. Not even the officer asked him questions that would make you that furious. He said "are you going to go home and kick your dog?" WTF kind of question is that? I would've told him "No, what i'm about to do is hop out and kick your face. Or when he started laughing at the guy for having to be late for work, that's wrong. And doing that to the wrong guy can effect his personal perspective and behavior when coming into contact with law enforcement again because instead of just getting caught and cited and going about his day, now after hearing ridiculous questions like that and being made fun of with that laugh, now it can ruin his day and just be upset so the next time he gets pulled over he will remember his horrible past experience and automatically be mad at the officer before even walking up to his window.

Chp doesn’t give speeding tickets to people unless they go over 80mph now , seems like they used to be more strict on speed
@chpman20132 жыл бұрын
Yeah, they're a bit more lenient these days.
@mcbride9912 жыл бұрын
Not true at all I got a ticket for going 73 and on the ticket it stated 70+. They ended up dropping it later at the courthouse but still.

@@mcbride991 when was this?
@djmaster19952 жыл бұрын
@@chpman2013 Why are you surprised? The CVC says speed over 65 MPH is illegal. Plenty of sections that would authorize a citation for going 73 in a 70.
@chpman20132 жыл бұрын
@@djmaster1995 true, but it's pretty much discretionary, depending on which officer you encounter. I've done a few ride alongs with the CHP in the Bay Area, and they constantly stopped drivers for doing 80 mph or more, not really bothering with those doing 70 to 75.

Most law enforcement officers won't issue written citations as long as you pass the attitude test. Just show your license,registration, insurance, and listen to the lecture. Apologize, and say you will never commit the violation again. If it is not super serious, 95 % of the time you will get away with just a lecture.

Maybe if you're a felon. It's def not their policy to refuse media ridealongs. Stanley Roberts from KRON4 did it for a living till he moved to AZ a few years ago.

Cool give citizens tickets at $500... but you drive well above the speed limit every day
@djmaster19952 жыл бұрын
Not a $500 ticket in San Diego County. Not sure where you live. Plus this was in 1997. You need help buddy. You know that the people of California elected a legislature and they created the California Vehicle Code. You know you are violating it. Dont whine about getting caught.
