This was a great performance, for sure! She had other ones that I think stood out better (Stuff Like That There, You're All I Need, etc). Also, Tamyra Gray's "A House Is Not A Home" still gives me chills. And that's just from Season 1 :)

This performance on American Idol was the first time I saw/heard Kelly Clarkson. I hadn’t tuned in to the show until this episode and specifically just as this performance was starting - I didn’t even hear her full name until the following week. But I was simply blown away, and thought, “There’s no chance anyone else can win this thing!”
