I never understand why people walk through others campsites, bothers the crap out of me too! A few years ago we were staying at one of the nicest sites close to the beach. We were on our site, playing a game of badminton and people walked right in the middle of the game of under badminton, under the net to get to the beach. Meanwhile there was a clear marked trail next to our site to access the beach. We had this problem with different people several times over that weekend. We tried to strategically park our car and clothes line to deter people, but nope. They would duck under our clothesline and proceed through. You wouldn’t just walk through someone’s backyard/property - I see someone’s campsite the same way. On another note, what a nice site and BEAUTIFUL fall colours!

I went on a day trip to Archray last summer. It's a very nice little corner of Algonquin Park! It started to rain though so we just hiked the Barron Canyon and the Jack Pine Trail, and we checked out the Archray Campground. I love it there!

I've had people walk through my site too. That would not happen a few years ago. Now some people do not seem to care or know better.

Looks like a beautiful car camping spot. It's not just you, unfortunately people don't seem to respect privacy in P.P.s anymore. I avoid them when possible. Thanks for the video.👍

Juicy / Crispy...LOL... Intruder Alert... Intruder Alert...Hey Kevin...If Iron wood is so dense, how do you cut it for a fire ;-) I agree with Christine... My Favorite of all my tents is als The Eureka El Capitan... Had mine for about 20 years and it still repels water.

Hey Kevin : While its not the same as a canoe trip at my age it may be a necessity some day if I want to get to the great outdoors. In the later season they can be very deserted too.. It was something I thought of quite a bit o this years solo. I will adapt before I stop. Thanks Brian 79

Always love watching your vlogs, always so much fun. Your Eureka El Cap looks so similar to my Eureka Alpine Meadows I bought back in the 80's.....

My first ever back country trip was with a group of friends and we chose the Barron Canyon loop. We spent our first night at this campground as a jump off point. When we saw that 'demo' bear hang we assumed it was a community bear hang (which I'd seen in Appalachian back country sites before in Tennessee) and we hung our barrel from it. I don't think I've ever seen more bewildered and amused park staff, I imagine they're still telling that story.

Hello Kevin and Kristene, glad you both had a good trip and thanks for sharing it.. I want to say that I am 60% through your book "Once Around Algonquin" and it is heading for the reread department. I am sure I will want to read it again and again. I have learned so much about Algonquin and about your way of seeing things that make it and life more interesting. "Snippets", moose urinating on the tent pad,, sleeping in a haunted jail cell,"Make sure to perfect your dance. Don`t let the canoe take the lead". using the Freedom of information to find the honey hole!!!, Charlie`s moose antler trick.and mom`s Dinnea be stupid,, looking forward to the next 40% of the book and your others.. .. thanks my friend..
