Sharp moved the dropships into Bisu’s base as a distraction when he finally pushed out with his main army. The dropships were empty and forced Bisu to keep a handful of units home, which bought Sharp time to move across the map. He played out of his mind that game.

It is a nice move but without it he'd have steamrolled Bisu anyway. I mean at 9 minutes Bisu had 9 probes. I can beat him from there lol.

@@spinvn It's not guaranteed. With a goon army and reaver/shuttle he could have slowed down Sharp until more units were produced. The dropships were not going to be used for anything else, so it was the perfect plan. By splitting Bisu's army he was able to roll right up to the natural with zero resistance to easily secure the victory. And no, you wouldn't be able to beat Bisu if he had 0 probes, much less 9. Don't be silly.

Lmao can't believe protoss lost TWO games on troy, the most imbalanced map of all time. How you could NOT be thinking about dropship after your entire gameplan was to break the map is beyond me. Protoss really have noone to blame but themselves here

He didn't play out of his mind, Bisu just a dumbass couldn't tell what cards Sharp was holding even when they were face up. I'd bet my life savings that Sharp would make a dropship lmao it was that obvious. After having all but 7 probes wiped the game was already over

Oh man what an intense and crazy series this week. Great games! I was seriously on the edge of my seat at times, haha. Also just gotta say that Saiyan and XUN have easily become my favorite casting duo now. **SPOILER** Wow I've gone for protoss my whole life but, aside from Mini & Snow, they really are starting to look like dumb stupid animals. That Bisu vs Sharp game: A) The **only** counterplay Sharp had was a dropship. B) Sharp's entire TvP skills, since the beginning of time, has been to get vultures into the probe line. Still, somehow, Bisu remained entirely clueless. It's like calling all in vs an old man that jams preflop and only played one hand every 3 hours.

Wow. Just when you think KCM couldn't get any more intense, this week happens. But when y'all said Sharp isn't a top tier Terran, I was like you guys are crazy. He has improved so much this year and I think he's probably the No. 1 Terran right now. He is the current trend setter for new Terran strats. Then after getting locked in his base, he just slaps Bisu down like a B-tier Protoss. I promise you no Protoss will ever sacrifice teching to lock Sharp in again after that masterful display of skill. Y'all should apologize right now! ;)

I think sharp's game plan is obvious every game (get vultures into probe line somehow) but credit to him a lot of the apes don't have enough long term memory to see that's literally what he does every game.

Spoilers ahead: God I'm so disappointed in Best and Bisu, they've been dragging down Team Protoss every KCM for months. Never thought I'd say it but I'd prefer Motive YSC or Stork over them. I feel bad for Snow : ( anyway thanks for commentating guys, this series was nuts

Snow was God level in 4 games. But vs queen, I can't get, why don't you make robo on 3d or 4th base??? This map just joke, slow reaver can easy navigate between 3d 4th and 5th. What zerg should do vs shield batteries + 1-2 reaver on high ground?

game 3 spoiler Action was actively targeting observers to maintain his contain assuming there's buildable terrain, I'd like to see hatch+spore for that we saw an ASL game a while back where the zerg was containing protoss with several sunkens (along with lurker hydra), but with 1 spore that contain becomes so much more robust

Exceptional series. In the last game however, right before the critical moment, the supplies were essentially equal, indicating that the assimilator block didnt really have time to actually effect the game state too much at that point. Consequently, it seems like the game was more equal than it may have seemed.

**SPOILER** Plague is totally OP @ 75min, brings such expensive units AND buildings down to 1 health - it's a total joke lmao. Finally the ape started evolving and learned that there's actually an awesome fucking spell called "feedback" -- seriously how long did it take for Snow to learn this? He must have eaten ten thousand plagues before this. This is the first time I've seen him use feedback and it actually fucking stifled the infinite plagues.

Cool thign about Feedback is you don't ewven need to research and it only costs 50 mana. So worth it to make 2 DTs into a Darchon.

**SPOILER** Fuuuckkk man the first two games so incredibly fucking good. Snow really wanted to dig the hole with a spoon in game 2. Underestimated 3/3/200 -- I think only snow could've pulled that off. Every other toss would (and should) have transitioned to carriers.

I was thinking whether or not he should have gotten a few arbiters to multiply his effectiveness -- but 1. there were so many vessels, the arbs would have been emp'd a lot 2. he was at like 8000 minerals, 300 gas with so many high templar. arbs probably would have directly taken away from his high templar count, which was the only thing winning him fights against 3/3 mech but 1. arbs can immobilize like 10 supply in an instant. that might have gone a long way towards winning some fights that he had to claw through 2. always threatening a mass recall is scary and would either have been able to kill facts and depots or make mass turrets. those would have taken away resources from the vult or tank count so yeah, I don't know if arbs would have helped. carriers might not have been so powerful because cars need tons of supply and this map is big

@@IntegralKing Arbiters is the worst option of all for late game toss now (the three options being shuttle play, carriers, and arbiters). Arbiters old meta for a reason, and you've already said why. The vessels neutralise it, and more arbiters mean less storm. The stasis field often blocks Protoss units and actually can benefit the Terran, and Terran's too good at defending against recalls now with building, turret and mine placements. The actual PvT meta is Protoss either kill Terran before 3/3/200 or get enough of a lead to be able to pull off carriers. 3/3/200 really is unstoppable without them, Snow had to play his absolute heart out as the best shuttle/reaver user in the world to pull that win off AND he had every base on the map. Remember, when 'upgrade Terran' was in meta, Flash would always turtle on 3 bases until 3/3/200, while constantly scanning for carriers or over-expansion and moving out for the kill. Terran would routinely wreck toss with this. Protoss had to pathetically hide the carriers and just hope they went unseen. Now Protoss can take more expo than before and force Terran to move out, but fight very well with shuttles and storm.

@XUNsc, I think your opinion of Sharp's quality of play is a bit outdated. He's been absolutely killing it in the past year! I think he is easily top 5 Terran, perhaps even top 3 atm.

It's just his TvZ holding him back. He's often too conservative with his marines at odd points of the game. That Terran hesitation "do I have enough of a deathball?" It really F'ed him in ASL. His mech play is #1 in the world, for sure.
