KCS 4006 (Veteran's Unit) Trails on KCS Train I-DAAT2 in Atlanta, GA - Nickajack Road crossing

With good timing, I caught KCS's Veteran's unit trailing 3rd of 3 on the eastbound pig train while on my way to a drumming gig. Seen here at the Nickajack Road crossing on Norfolk Southern's Atlanta North District. This crossing has since been upgraded to have four gates and trains no longer sound their horns here. This is likely due to the many neighborhoods near the crossing. Silencing the train horns likely increases the value of nearby homes since residents no longer have to hear 40+ trains per day blowing through the crossing.
