thanks for the videos man. Truly a godsend. I was just getting ready to go run sound and they told me they had this board. It's my first live sound gig and I wasn't familiar with the board. I prayed that I would find some work doing sound. and out of the blue, I got my first gig. God lead me there and now he's led me here. Thanks god bless.

Hello. Tell me please, what should be the sound level on the indicators? I keep the input level of each channel at -18dB. I also keep the overall mix at -18dB. And you have a sound level near clipping. Isn't that a lot for a digital mixer?

Buen día Ing. Lo que veo en los medidores del máster Fader es que la señal está demasiado caliente y llega hasta el clip de distorcion.

Red channel seems to be the bass guitar
@DrewBrashler2 жыл бұрын
J.G. is correct, it is the Bass guitar. He was playing pretty lightly on this song, so I needed to push him up more. I'll definitely be making more of these that talk about more parts of how I mix. Keep an eye out for them!

Hi Drew, thank you for your video , what reverb are you using on the video and how come when he started talking the reverb is not that noticeable

Respectfully, why are you clipping the board?
@DrewBrashler2 жыл бұрын
Great question and thanks for keeping me straight! 1, I was a bit clumsy on this mix and 2, I typically will push my board into the orange so that I don't have to compress the board mix as much for proper levels on KZbin. But I agree, I shouldn't have been hitting the clip on the board.

Would you happen to have a video on how to setup a click track to only be hear in the ear monitors ? We’re running into not being able to give more volume on the click track it keeps coming out of the mains
@khnervick11 ай бұрын
Select the click channel. Turn OFF the routing to the speakers (Main Bus & Mono Bus buttons just to the left of the display panel). Your click track will now only be hear in the in ears.

Drew, you are such a gem! You've made me a bit more comfortable and confident with the X32. I'd love to know your favourite effects on the X32 and on it? Listening to the mix, I heard a "fast" delay instead of the traditional slower delay, wondering if it's just song specific or always like that.

Hi, how to record a band and then play them on channels on berenher x32?
@justus96942 жыл бұрын
he used an extension card in this video which records 32 tracks to USB or SD card. Other option is to use the standard 32x32 USB Interface card and record to a DAW on a connected PC.

J.G. nailed it! I'm using the Behringer X-Live card on my X32. Check out my videos on the Behringer X-Live card: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYGnlmSGmLOYkJI. I'm using this with the SD card for multi-track recording and playback to all of the channels on my X32. I end up using the user defined section on the right side of the board for pressing play on the card. I have 4 videos on the X-Live card already up on KZbin, so check them out!

@@DrewBrashler I want to say that you are doing a very good job, it is actually a great blessing. The EQ and compressor settings were suitable for our vocalists and I am very very happy with this work. Also, the video about the delay for snare drum helped to improve the sound quality. I would also like to know about electric guitars, we have two of them, and it's a big problem for me to find a place for them in mixing so that they don't bother anyone. A couple of tips about tuning effects for guitars and EQ and compressor. Sorry for my English, I use a translator.

I do the same but more a production thing. I mean.. sometimes the band misses the opportunity to let the audience take over so I lower the vocals. Such an atmosphere changer when you let the congregation singing be the loudest in the room
