The craziest part is we WANT to do it for a soft, feminine woman. That strong independent don't need no man BS is to a woman's detriment. Be a Queen, Kings will fight to protect you. Being a bytch will leave you vulnerable so you HAVE TO fight for yourself. Much luv

@@inevitableevolution1 I guess that makes sense. I like to think other peoples character doesn’t have anything to do with mine, though. I know that I’m feminine because my privileges allow me to be. But Femininity is a luxury and not everyone can afford it.
@inevitableevolution1
@inevitableevolution1 3 жыл бұрын
@@evaphillips2102 everyman may not be able to afford it for relationship but if that feminine energy & manorism is your default, even men who don't want to get in your pants will go out of their way to make sure your good...... Like men should, like our parents & elders taught us guys to do. Don't turn it on & off. If you meet a man who's disrespectful or unappreciative, you can tell them you thats not acceptable but ignoring them hurts more than anything you could say. You can't hurt a pig throwing mud at them plus they love it when you take off your crown and play their mud games. It makes you look bad.

Well aint that obvious.. of course this is for a real man and not a fboy. It's up to the woman to determine what type of man she is dealing. Then you move accordingly.

She's talking about adult men...for one if you shouldn't even waste no more than a month or two with a guy that dont communicate no way...we as women see the red flags but truly ignore them..then boom 5 years later we saying what we put up with...you made that choice you decide what man you gone deal and not deal with.

What she said about thinking you are completely healed until you are dating is the absolute truth. From 2016-2020 I went 4 years of no dating, and during that time I was healing, learning myself, and had written a few books, and I thought I had it all together. It wasn’t until I started dating that I realized I had some things that I still needed to heal from. And as she said, the person could be a good person, and STILL trigger you. The reality is that you won’t know until you are IN IT

And just as important look for the right person to protect the true version of us. Great video!!!!

I JUST HAD this conversation... Im on my own journey back to my natural divine femininity. I didn't REALIZE how MASCULINE I was... I had to allow the HOLY SPIRIT to come in and TEACH-COACH/RETRAIN me on who, how, and why to show up in the world... the most VALUABLE/POWERFUL thing we have as WOMEN is our FEMININITY...the PROBLEM is OUR DEFINITION OF FEMININITY!!! the definition we tell OURSELVES oftentimes isn't correct... femininity BEGINS on the INSIDE and progresses in reflection on the outside... it doesnt start and STOP on the outside...this was sooo good to me today!!! Thank yall for loving us enough to invest your precious time being part of the solution as we move forward in healing our community... we value and appreciate your contributions...🙏🏽❤

That part about seeing the little boy, not the man, is on point. 99.9% of the time, our adult emotional issues are from childhood experiences. If you go to therapy and have a good therapist first thing they do is go into your childhood. It unveils a lot! I love when I'm out, and men open my door for me or run to beat me to the door to open it for me. I say thank you every time! Its rare men don't open my door for me. I've opened doors for women out of courtesy, and 99.9% of them never say thank you. A thank you goes such a long way for anybody but goes further with men they love being appreciated. So I say thank you for everything. It cost nothing to say thank you.

I love this woman! Some ppl are stating she is giving off male energy or whatever but she really isn’t. The issue is the culture we live in has changed so much that we can’t see it. Ms.AprilMason explained the timeline of generations and how they have changed perfectly. We’re a product of our environment, and our environment is not just the tangible but also the deeper things that define our situation (poverty, abuse, low resources, generational family problems, etc). At the end of the day, despite the religion, feminine and masculine are a thing for a specific reason. Men can’t fulfill what a woman’s role is in a relationship and woman can’t fulfill the role of a man (again, I say this from the perspective of a straight relationship) & that is why when these two beings come together there has to be an understanding. Nothing to do with one is better than the other but yes.. masculine and feminine energy are indeed different and each are built and set up differently physically, chemically, biologically, etc.

woooow! this was really an AHA moment for me when it came to the discussion on chivalry and creating the space and 'waking up' the chivalry that has been DORMANT because of all the 'slaps on the hand' from these other ladies out here who shut it down etc. THANK YOU for this other perspective on how to handle it when I run across men who don't have it top of mind ... i am going to definitely try this out and see how the shift happens

Awesome interview! So much wisdom. She reminds me of Chrissy, the KZbinr who talks about black women and feminine energy. I wish both women would write books. What a deep topic. This involves emotional healing (ex: shadow work), spiritual work (eastern religion re: feminine energy, no energetic hiearchies), mental paradigm shifts, etc. Who knew choosing a mate or finding a life partner required so much internal and self work. Work we should all be doing anyway. Thanks for this interview. It's really a gem.

I LOOOOOVE this. This is the most practical discussion on this subject I've ever heard. It's real. It's nuanced. And it takes EVERYTHING women are actually DEALING WITH into account. Fabulous 🌺🌺🌺

Thanks for telling him the truth. These men act like they don't see these things. I esp get annoyed with those who grew up without a father because the fathers were better off gone or didn't want to be there now act like women are just crazy to be crazy. Its generational trauma,help the community heal

We did see it modeled to us. Maybe not at home but it was modeled on TV. Strong feminine women were characterized on Fresh Prince, Cosby show and others. I'm greatful for this talk. Very good!

Awesome. I am just listening to the series. These words are so enlightening. That was always my issue. I always try to fix everything and everybody. (Including ex) And don't understand that they cannot be fixed by hitting them with a hammer. OMG Ms. April....you have soo much wisdom. My mom always said you can catch flies better with honey than with vinegar. True

I’m so glad you both brought up The music. My peers think I’m not hip but I’m definitely not in that world. I’ve always thought those emotions are heavy and definitely don’t want to feel that pain. I listen to podcasts more these days.

Really love this conversation and how it was concise yet thorough for such a loaded topic. It's so cool how you both got to the root of the issue, talked about making these generational changes, healing and figuring things out. Look it's a journey, and learning to return the feminine mindset is an art. It's not something we just learn overnight. Thank you, Miss Mason, for sharing your journey. You didn't let your experiences decide your fate. There is such strength in your vulnerability. You are an inspiration, leading by example. I'm trying to heal through a lot of things myself and it's not easy so I truly appreciate and respect people who have intentionally and consistently done the work.
