Hi edwin vervliet! Great question! Presuming that the speech-to-text feature is configured in #KDEnlive (shown here, if helpful - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qH3Cmmmfn5msma8) and the spoken language in the video is translated to subtitles, I'd suggest 1) first exporting the subtitle file (SRT) using Project->Subtitles->Export Subtitle File. Next, the subtitles in the project need to be removed - This can be most easily accomplished by zooming out on the timeline view (slider on the bottom-right corner), holding SHIFT and left-mouse click, then dragging the mouse over all the subtitles (while holding the click) to select them them. Once selected, they can be removed using the DELETE key. 2) Translate the subtitles to the desired language using subtitlestranslator.com/en/, which is a free subtitle translation tool - a guide is provided on how to use the the site and will provide a new SRT file at the end of the process. Corrections can be implemented within the site (or later in #KDEnlive) if needed. 3) Import this new SRT file to #KDEnlive using PRoject->Subtitles->Import Subtitle File. Hope that helps!

@@Photolearningism i have tried the link you mentioned - it works fine however the dutch translating is not very good - but it gives me a start so i can edit the file in subtitle composer and correct it -- it would be nice if there was a way in subtitle composer to see the english txt next to the dutch txt - still have not found to do that. thank you for the help - still learning every day

Thank you for the great feedback for what you'd like to explore in #KDEnlive! I'm researching these and will be releasing new videos in the coming weeks. For now, what creative ways have you tried to use titles and did I miss any concepts in this video that you'd like to explore more?
