Pastor Keion, and Shaunie, joy was the topic in our Bible study tonight. You are absolutely correct; happiness rise and fall, comes and goes. Spiritual joy is much more than happiness. Spiritual joy is eternal. Wed, Dec 18. 2024.

I just love the Hendersons, when she says how it gives her joy to watch her husband preach,I noticed that for a while, when the camera is on her she's sitting there all bright eyes and she has this glow on her face ❤. That look that says that's my guy, that's my Honey Dip❤❤❤❤

This was a great, great topic. So much so that I had to rewind the section on happiness and joy. I sat up out my bed, graded a notebook and a pencil and took notes. Thank you Pastor Keion and First Lady Shaunie Henderson for another amazing session. ❤

I must say when the service came about you telling the lady to be quiet. I didn't know who you were so I decided to go see who you were. I went to your page and learned who you were and that you had married Shaunie. That made me look further so I started following your page. Then this grow zone Omg has truly been a blessing to me. Being divorced for 4 years and not dating at all this grow zone has blessed my life. I love the way you guys love on one another, and the way you guys are so transparent. I had not given up on marriage but there has been questions of when. I look forward to these podcast. Now I will say that being married 3 times I was feeling some type of way and yes people can make you feel a certain way. 2 of my X's were preachers so I would say Lord let him know of you, I don't want a preacher lol. But trough growth my mindset has changed and this podcast has given me hope. I now can't wait until the man of God that God is preparing me for and him for me. I know there is no such thing as a perfect marriage. I know that there is 2 people that are perfect for one another. I'll take this time of singleness to get to know me better and to draw closer to God.

I love this episode so much because my youngest is 17 my oldest is 32 and I just recently started dating back comfortably and we’ve been dating for a little over a month now and it we have a couple disagreements on communication already but,we pushed through it and we’re doing great but, we’re still learning each other. We’re still growing together so, I’m using your tools every day and I just wanna thank you both for it is working now and I told my person that if God‘s not in it, I do not want to do it so we’re leaning and have faith in God and we’re gonna work it out so I thank you both for your tools and your gifts that you’re giving it. It is amazing. God bless.🙏🏾

Happy is derived from the word happenstance. You are happy based on the situation. It’s difficult to choose to be “happy” when going through a challenge. Joy is more permanent as it lives internally and that is a choice and part of the fruit of the Spirit of God. It’s like I know things are working out for me therefore I have God’s joy resident in me.

This was an interesting and educational podcast. In the years I’ve been married, I have never considered, how I should respond to what brings my husband joy. Now, I’ll be less sarcastic about his watching tv and movies AND be a tiny bit more supportive. Question: With all of your helpful advice, how do you apply it to your own life and how do you remember what you’re working on?

Wow. There’s something extremely controlling and even rude about throwing someone else’s things away .... even IF those things are “old and unused” and “worthless” (in your opinion.) Those things belong to the other person. They aren’t yours to decide you can foerver get rid of them without their knowledge or consent. And .... .... you have no idea that the other person doesn’t want them or even have a reason or purpose for holding onto them that you don’t know.. This is very telling.
