Pastor Keion's comments on being lonely and/or alone with yourself were on point. After my divorce, I struggled with this and after 5 years I can now do things alone because I know I'm truly not alone. There's a difference between being alone and lonely.

I really enjoyed this podcast it helped me to look at being single a little different but what Shanni saying is true, it gets lonely but I don’t want to rush in order to not be by myself. I’m happy you guys found one another. I pray God has that special someone that will communicate with me and hear and we and I do the same towards him. Thank you both for this segment. Love you much.

I love being single however I do date from time to time. I learned in my 30’s & 40’s to love myself and enjoy my own company. I travel alone, people watch, take myself on dates to the movies, shopping, dinner, beach, etc. I don’t feel lonely but I do feel alone sometimes but that’s also because I’ve relocated to several different states in the past 4 years and making friends is what’s hard because I don’t let many in my space/circle. Great conversation Pastor and First Lady! ❤

I love this podcast keep up the good work it’s a blessing. Just giving another perspective to single ministry’s. I think it’s like small groups at church. It’s a community of like-minded people that enjoy doing some of the same things. I think part of the problem is people tend to think church people are boring and that’s not true. Remember most of us have a past, but choosing to give that energy to Christ once He saved us😊 BTW not that you care but not single and never been apart of single ministry just my perspective. Keep doing what you all are doing I’m enjoying it❤😊

And being saved is THE MAIN THING Aand single is another thing. And combine they can be a powerful thing BUT in this world and society now sex is the number 1 thing that brings you down and the most most lustful as well to. I do think some ppl are truely trying to be saved and single in the church. I believe the conversation in topic can be so broad but love to hear y’all’s advice in it and love y’all’s broad cast

Some people can be single and not have sex. I believe men have a hard time going without sex. For men that went through a break-up, most of the time they go straight to the next woman unhealed. Women can go without sex and start their healing process. Myself had to learn who I was and what I wanted out of life, self love was first, second for me was setting boundaries, teaching people how to treat me.
@janespitfire9884Ай бұрын
Good points Pastor makes on sex relations with too many people. Genders desire this closeness in differ rates. My mother told me when got a period at 12 all about sex and male needs. I was disgusted when she gave me details ( I had married sisters) but SO GLAD she did tell me. Not one to do the one nite stand or group or free sex when single. I got married 2 differ times & it was good till each cheated and wanted another person in our marriage bed. NO WAY!! Now want to explore life....travel, book clubs, volunteer. And going alone was ok cause talked to every one met.
