KDP "Please Review Your Title" - How to Fix!

Today I'm going to share with you my ultimate guide to fixing your KDP manuscript errors! If you've gotten this email from KDP:
Attention needed: Please review your title
We checked your files and found issues you need to fix before your book can be published on KDP:
Interior
Add 0.125" (3.2 mm) to your book's page width and 0.25" (6.4 mm) to the page height to ensure that the images in your manuscript extend beyond the edge of the page.

Hey Heather! Thanks for all the awesome videos! I had a question, I published my first KDP book and I used a pen name that starts with "Prints by" but someone pointed out that might have been a mistake and that Amazon may come back and delete my account later. Do you feel that Pen names tend to be flagged? Should I start over and choose a different Pen Name? I'd love your advice on this.

@@LDubs_888 Hi! My understanding is that it is totally ok to use a pen name as the author. Just make sure you use your real name for your account info.

Hi Heather, I always love watching you. You are an amazing teacher. I'd like to ask if I am writing a book using canva, children or adult, am I to do the page numbering myself, or when I upload on KDP they do it for my manuscript?

Hi! You would need to add those in yourself. If you're doing a children's book that's only like 24 pages or so it doesn't really need page numbers. But a chapter book or novel would (but that would be really hard to do in Canva)

Thank you for this video . Also, you gave your email to help us more. ❤ I don’t know how to do all these with Word. Do you have any video with Word step by step? I received, also, the email that i need to add 0,125 and 0,25 etc and i have choosed 8.5 × 11.

Hi! If you are creating a children's book, Word is not ideal. It is better for reflowable content like chapter books. You can use Canva instead, and it has a free version. If your book is 8.5x11 then your page sizes will need to be 8.625x11.25. Hope that helps! ❤️
