My father passed in January 2022, due to COVID regulations, we couldn't be with him and he passed alone...I drove up 1.5 hours to hold his hand after he passed because I've always felt that noone should die alone unless they choose that for themselves. Our mother was brought to the hospital in April & never regained consciousness. I remained with her and held her hand for 3 days, taking my time to just stay there and holding her hand, sleeping alongside her, trying to take a few moments to gain strength to face the inevitable reality she was completing her journey on earth. I remained with her while she took her last breath & thanked her for being our mom. This song found me & will forever be my go to, for moments I need to feel her with me still. Thank you for this...
