There are individuals who are blessed by nature, born with beautiful structure (both face and body) and Keanu is certainly one of those. But it's the lifestyle choice that keeps Keanu youthful and nature. Aging is a natural process, but it isn't just a face, isn't it. In his 50s, he can still do almost all of his own stunts in action movies like John Wick that are physically demanding, and he pulls that off beautifully. THAT isn't something that plastic surgery will give you. It's a whole-person, mind and body and soul, that makes Keanu handsome in his own way that also stands the test of time.

I was shocked to see this because I have met him twice and I can honestly say I don't believe he's done anything. It's just not something he's interested in. He has beautiful eyes I don't believe they photograph well because in person, they are light amber and very gorgeous. His Hawaiin-Chinese heritage just ages well for someone close to 60. He is gracious and very much a gentleman but incredibly shy! He as totally at ease with himself but not with the attention. I do think he's aged better than Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that he has a very chill life, minimal public ''celebrity'' and social media exposure and by extention far less stress/anxiety, and has a hobby that he loves. His diet isn't the healthiest overall, but external appearances mean very little in that regard, there is no telling what is going on in terms of health. His voice has become raspy over time, so perhaps smoking or other factors.

@PeachyBeachBum I'm a strong believer that you can be poor and age gracefully. Don't do drugs, don't drink or smoke, and eat relatively healthy. Manage your stress as best as you can. Wear sunscreen, have a basic skincare routine. Sometimes it also really just boils down to genetics. 😂

He may have been pressured and offered some minor non invasive procedures for the film roles. I can imagine after some work he might have not personally liked the outcome and refrained from doing more. It is just my assumption. There are those who look at their flaws and will do anything to change them. And there are some of us that are so afraid to make alterations and any changes will make us feel so strange in our own skin.

I'm also not sure about the legality of a studio "requiring" or even suggesting that for a part. If an actor is playing a part that requires prosthetics (like a Star Wars alien) that's different. About the only thing I can imagine Keanu doing is getting his teeth whitened every so often--lol.

I think with Keanu it’s a combination of inner peace and good genetics. Life has throw him curveballs if you’ve read up on his life but yet he remains happy, positive, humbled and focused which is so rare for a famous Hollywood actor these days. He’s not a phony. The only other actor who comes close is Woody Harrelson. This is a man who understands what’s important in life. It’s a Canadian trait.

I don't think any of us have heard anything negative about Keanu which is almost unheard today... ps: even other celebrities say he's a genuinely nice, down-to-earth guy. That’s because we’ve been conditioned to accept aging in men but not in women. Women who show their age can be beautiful too. I’m working hard to try and move past the attitudes ingrained by society. Aging shows a life lived and experience, those are valuable and deserve respect.

I think mature men grow into what is considered beautiful or handsome for them, and generally the standard of beauty for women is at a younger age. That doesn't bother me. It is what it is. I don't even color my hair, so I'm fine with aging the way my genes are set for me to age.

I think this would applicable to nearly all men if no men lost hair - it's really hair loss that makes most people look bad as they age more than anything else. Most older people who are blessed with good hair usually are the ones people say have aged gracefully. I would bet on that actually but not sure completely.

Keanu Reeves is a smoker. He started smoking during the filming of 'Feeling Minnesota.' That film came out in 1996. So as of 2023 he has been smoking for about 27 years. Imagine how much younger he would look if he never picked up that nasty habit.

Keanu is an iconic personality and one of my all time favorites. We are the same age and I've grown up enjoying every one of his films. He has the gift of being mysterious and relatable at the same time. I could tell that he has not had significant surgical procedures done. His face is so natural and as handsome today as it was in the 1980's. Based on what I've read, he has dealt with more tragedy at a young age than most. I wish him peace and continued success. I grew up in Florida. Unlike my friends, I rarely went outside. I was a bookworm. I'm 52 now and have no wrinkles at all. My friends, and even my younger sisters, all look so much older than I am. People have asked me if my youngest sister is my mother!! I give credit to not going in the sun.

I've always had relatively good skin, I never did anything special except wash my face. I'm nearing 37, and I started noticing my skin's texture and tone had really deteriorated. I've picked up a salicylic acid regimen and started moisturizing, which has improved it. It's just crazy to me how I never used to think about this stuff and now I do and it's such a weird thing to be concerned with. I'm reminded of my mom buying every whateverol she could afford, it's so weird to be able to understand it from her perspective. TL;DR - Millennials are starting to realize that ageism is real and we're about to have a tantrum over it

I would guess it is a combination of genetics, cleaner living, and not getting caught up in Hollywood. He didn’t go right out and buy a mansion. He used to wear boots with duct tape. Shows he wasn’t stressing over the small stuff. He focused on his acting and everything else was secondary.

I recently watched John Wick 4 at the theaters and thought he must have had some type of filler work done for his under eye or cheeks since he is getting older, and that area did look fuller than other ordinary men around his age. Still, I knew he hadn’t done anything major to his face since it still had the marks of a man who was embracing aging naturally. I’ve been a big fan of his since my teens. I’m 40 years old now btw, and personally, I think he was perfectly handsome when he was young, but more attractive now. Yeah, I think he’s getting hotter as he ages😊
