Mahalo for keeping our beautiful music going. When I hear your mele I know each of you are singing from your pu'uwai. It reminds me of my childhood. I'm now 75 years old and am proud of each of you. I grew listening to Vicky Ii Rodrigues, her daughter Nina, Mahi Beamer, Kawai Cockett, Kai Davis, Bill Aliiloa Lincoln, Peter Ahia, Haunani Kahalewai, Halekulani Girls, - I gotta add hula great Beverly Noa, - it was am era of elegance and simplicity - Melodie’s that will live forever. Nothing like it. Priceless.

As a malahini here since '79, I often forget to take the time to listen to Hawaiian music. Tonight I was fortunate to NOT change the channel following "Newshour," because the sounds of Keauhou brought me back to a great appreciation for the beauty of Hawaiian music. You're all so talented! And Nicholas's gentle voice flows so naturally. Mahalo, Keauhou!
