Those are Turkish names for pizza, because of the meat kebab which is used in Doner/Durum traditional turkish dishes. The pizzas look delicious, very good mix of middle east culture with other cultures. Congratulations on the win 👏

It's big in Scandinavia. However, I stopped eating kebab after food and safety did a raid in restaurants that served kebab in a city in my country. The aftermath wasn't pretty.

@@perpelle Yup lots of 5€ pizzerias in south use shitty kebab that aren't healthy for you. Not big problem here in north afaik. Here in Oulu we had pizzamafia instead lol where some pizza-families threatened other companies and waged war on them but ...just avoid the shady pizzerias and you're fine.

Here in Northern Finland Kebab + Ham + Mayo is a HUGE thing. Everyone I know loves it. I definitely recommend. "Oulu" is called the capital city of "känkky" aka kebab/mayo pizza. Edit: good pick you didn't go for the special. I ate a similar pizza here in Oulu (Bacon, Ham, Pepperoni, Kebab, Mayo, Jalapeno and fries on top) and I was full for days lol

Kebab pizza is one of the greatest culinary creations ever! It seems to have originated in Sweden in the early 1980s at eateries serving both kebab and pizza. These places were typically owned by immigrants from the Middle East. Today, it's one of the most popular types of pizza in Sweden and has spread to other countries. As far as I can tell, the vast majority of foreigners who try it immediately understand why topping a pizza with kebab meat and a spicy sauce is such a good idea. Contrary to pineapple pizza it might one day become popular even in Italy!

Why you did go from Järvenpää to Porvoo? Järvenpää has one of the best pizzerias in Finland (Bumma), which makes Neapolitan pizza. It is always really high in the polls.

I used to like tuna pizza, but, come to think of it, it is a little strange. Maybe it’s a European thing? This makes me want to try a kebab pizza. I guess if I did the challenge I could try the tuna one too. And blue cheese and pineapple. Kebap actually means barbeque or cooked over fire/charcoal - Doner means turning/spinning as does gyros and shawarma they are all basically the same. So a 'kebap' pizza is not really much different than a BBQ pizza. Personally I haven't tasted a 'kebap' pizza that I have liked. The meat they are using on those pizzas looks like it came from one of those really processed shishs that are so popular in Europe. Have you ever tried a 'kebap' in Bulgaria? I have a friend that has a doner pavilion and he uses fresh meat everyday, he marinades and stacks it on the shish every morning. It is so much better than those factory made versions. Real juicy meat. There was never any doubt that you were going to finish this challenge 'Atlas'.

My order from my local pizza shop is a small cheese pizza with a side of hot sauce and 6 wings with Bleu cheese. I rarely finish it. It’s thicker crust and loaded with cheese. But yall two would eat all that in 5 min. Impressive.
