This is the incubator I just bought. This is my first time incubating eggs. I've watched so many videos. I'm so nervous and excited!! It's really interesting watching what everyone does differently and seeing the results. I put 9 eggs in. Fingers crossed I have some babies in 21days 🥚🐣🐥

We had to buy an “emergency” incubator from tractor supply a couple of weeks ago bc our broody hen got unfortunately compromised, didn’t work out but the quality difference wasn’t there. It was cheaper and held more eggs but we aren’t concerned with volume. This one has proved well for our needs.

I think the tray is too small for duck eggs but I’m not certain, I’ve only done chicken and Guinea eggs and it was perfect for those but I think I recall reading a review somewhere online that the turner was too small for duck eggs.

I just got the same one. We put ayam cemani eggs in 2 days ago. So.far so good. Holds a steady temp and humidity pretty good. I would guess you are colored blind? By saying the tray is yellow or green. Have a couple friends that are color blind.

We just put 6 Guinea eggs in a couple of days ago, I was very pleased with it. It’s the perfect size for our needs and we love being able to see all of the eggs, we only had 2 that didn’t develop and couldn’t confirm 100% they were fertile. Of those 10, we hatched 8 healthy chicks. Clean up was pretty simple and painless. I’m trying to talk my daughters into letting the existing flock free range bc we will be at about max capacity without building another coop. We do have fox in the area that got our last flock so they are very apprehensive about the idea… lol yes, colors are not my specialty. I didn’t even realize I was colorblind until I was about 12 years old when we were learning about rids and comes in school, that explained a lot as community crayons always gave me the biggest trouble, I always had ti choose the colors that still had the paper on them so I could read what they were and color accordingly. My mother bought the corrective glasses for me a couple of years ago. Due to extraordinary marketing, she got upset with me when I didn’t have the “OMG IM SEEING THE SPECTRUM FOR THE FIRST TIME” moment. They did not work and it was a truly thoughtful gift. She wasn’t really upset with me but she just had such high expectations for them and probably a little upset with herself for falling for it. It’s actually one of the reasons I started making yt videos. Sorry for the rambling, thanks for watching, I hope your hatch is successful!!
