When you say dry hatch..what was your humidity reading the first 18 days? Im thinking our humidity of 17% is just too low. I think maybe your climate allows for dry hatch?

Why did you not buy a Little Giant Deluxe Incubator? It's made in the US, can hatch triple the amount of eggs, add quail rails if needed and it's only $20 more.

Over the years I’ve had about four batches of sexed, day-old chicks that I purchased online and I immediately put them directly into an aquarium with food and water, so I wonder if while you’re waiting for the others to hatch are you leaving the ones that have already hatched in with them? Do you make put water and chicken scratch in with them while they wait? I’ve been thinking about purchasing an egg incubator, and I came across your video and thought that perhaps it was going to take them from eggs to hatched to a size where they need to be moved into a bigger incubator or aquarium. But that would mean you need to be able to put food and water in there for them. One more question is are you able to sex the chicks while they’re inside the eggs?

You never put food in an incubator, nor do you open it until they are all done hatching on day 21. Every time you open an incubator you drop humidity and can shrink wrap chicks that haven’t hatched, and they die. Your online chicks are hatched the same way then put in a box for 2 days and shipped to you with no food or water. They are able to survive because they are still absorbing their yolk.

I was not paid so tell me how many years you have owned a hatchery and been a chicken breeder? It was a great hatch, I didn’t fill the incubator with eggs, in fact it’s such a great little one many people are choosing it for their hatcheries. I personally use several 1502s this was a test. Please don’t comment unless you know what you’re talking about and kindly go bother someone else.

I think it depends on your eggs I bought this one on October 1st week And sent it to my brother my mom has a few hens so she got her own fresh eggs my brother told me he put the 25 eggs and only one was no viable so he is waiting for his first hatching time this week but the people who sell the eggs to you in the US sometimes they aren't fertilized plus the run straight to you through the mail where they move all the time. He also use a cheap one on Amazon that was 34 dollars when we got it on October now is $70+ he put 16 eggs also 1 of them didn't make it the first chick hatched at day 18 + 9 of them hatched on day 19 and my mom helped 2 of the eggs to come out then she didn't pay attention to the other 3 eggs for minutes so they didn't make it to the end so 12 out of 15

@@ParagonRidgeRanch okay. But people that watch this should know that it will be hard for humidity to rise if the hatch mat is in. The design of incubator doesn’t do a dry hatch. Thus only hatching out 3 chicks. The heater in a small uninsulated incubator works harder to maintain temperature. I wouldn’t recommend dry hatch in them. You should do another video and add water during incubation and follow their guide. Not fair to incubator company do advertise their product and not follow their recommendations.

I tested it, it worked well for me, in my climate. Sorry you had a bad expierence. You should contact the manufacturer. I personally use GQF 1502's for our hatchery. I loan it out to the elementary schools now and they have amazing hatches, they love it, bet to borrow it. This was just to try out. Thanks for watching.
