Wow this just blew my mind. So much more efficient, profitable and less damaging to the inner panel work, no need to strip the boot trims or push from behind or apply cavity wax or any of that. A very interesting and effective new style of body repair. Thanks for the video.

Dude ya had me saying Awesome work. Untill I saw you blend the front door #1. And #2 you left the door handle in!!! Like WTF!! A production shop would have never blended the front door for a quarter panel repair. And to leave the door handle in and tape it is just... Like wow..

You guys painted the side of the car with the door handles and mirror on the blend panel? Aka the front door ? It will be peeling around everything you masked off in the future. Good job.

Holy Crap! You are right! They took all that time to do nice work on the rest of the car, then hacked the blend panel!

GPR significantly limits the need for body filler when compared to stud welding and other conventional repairs. You can see more about the process at www.pulltopaint.com

definitely could have applied less filler and this also would have kept that body line sharper

@KECOBodyRepairProducts

You are completely correct. This is GPR or, Glue Pull Repair. PDR techs pioneered glue pull repair in their work but we are trying to innovate and adapt the technology for big damage repair in the body shop for collision technicians.

Pdr, great, but as someone who’s main job is restoring show winning Porsche’s, being the filler worker, I must say the filler work was not great. Too thick with nothing grinning through, not even towards the edge of the repair, didn’t need to be so after the pdr work that was done

это заморочка для тех, кто очень боится пережженого сваркой либо споттером металла,и как следствие возникновение коррозии .В любом случае если того требует клиент ,не вижу никаких причин не делать так,если стоимость работ устраивает обе стороны.

I hate the term "Bondo" Actual Bondo brand Body filler hasn't been used professionally since the late 1970s. By the time the 80's rolled around, we were already using space aged alternative body fillers that were vastly superior. In the 1990's they started zinc coating and galvanizing the steel...so we had to have all new fillers because the old stuff didnt stick to the Zink and Galvanizing. Thats when the yellow fillers came out, and the polyester glaze that sticks to the paint came out. The body fillers we have today are totally different.
