Keeley Electronics has introduced an updated version of their Caverns Reverb & Delay pedal, combining the same warm, analog-like tone with greater functionality. With expanded features including modulation for both the reverb and delay, the Caverns can create a plethora of spaced-out sounds.

I bought this pedal about 2 months ago. Think it’s got some good sound to it and has brought another universe to explore with solos. The delay/reverb combo is really fun to play around with as well - it’s kept me busy and interested in what new sound I can discover. The shimmer mode, in particular, sounds great for echoes and a Pink Floyd-like vibe. One thing I am not so happy about is that the overall sound - in whatever mode you use it, and whatever level you put the knobs - is a bit like a tin can on the upper register. Turn the knobs up or down and try different combos and it always seems to have a shimmer. For this reason, I’m not so sure I made the right decision in spending so much on the pedal, $200 for 2 in 1 is a great deal, and I’ll probably use a few of the sounds for various songs, but I’m bummed I’m going to have to spend another $158 to get the boss reverb to get bass in the reverb to balance the tin caverns. Overall, 7/10

Could be wrong, but it looks like he's skipping the bass notes and only playing 5 strings. Maybe that's giving off a different sound than what you're hearing (?)

I know this is an old comment but if you’re still wanting a nice simple combo pedal for rock music, check out the NUX Atlantic. It’s so simple but has all the options that most guitar players for rock/metal need and it’s dirt cheap.

The description says it has "warm analog tone" but this is a digital pedal on both the delay and (obviously) the reverb side. This is a great demo, but that description is pretty misleading. It's a digital pedal meant to sound analog.

Kenneth Lawrence I was gonna say that. Unless I see a pedal say something like “true analog” then I always assume it’s digital replicating analog. But the description specifically says “analog-like” as the first comment said. I do have to say it’s cool though cause so many “analog-like” pedals won’t self oscillate so at least that’s right.

I agree. The guy knows how to play guitar, but I would rather them not go for the most extreme (impractical) application of the pedal and rather show me what it actually might do in a sitaution that anybody would want to listen to.

Honestly I wouldn't even consider buying this pedal if it weren't for the space sounds. If I wanted a good sounding basic reverb I wouldn't waste the money on a pedal like this. There are less expensive pedals that do that. I would buy a TC Skysurfer for $40 or just use the spring Reverb on my amp.
