On the original, I didn't use the exp jack, I only used Halo/Qtr settings and I really wished there was a tap tempo instead of the a/b switches. It's like you let me design my perfect Halo. Can't wait to get it.

If you hold the switch for whichever side you’re using they become tap tempos…

@@Stboser Yes. I find it much easier to just tap. Having to hold the button down first and then tapping is more than I want to do while playing.

@@joshie4330 What type of music you play, that you need a tap tempo? I don’t mean you have to have it, but I’m just curious, what type of music, when someone mentions needing tap tempo, or a better setup for it.

@@CorbCorbin I use TT to stretch out the delay time from a slap back style into a solo. Or change tempo for the next song. But yea, holding down a switch for a few seconds first to enable TT is a real pain. I have delay pedals without tap tempo and always wish they had it. Love my Adineko and DECO pedals , but no TT. ECCOS and Obscura both require the hold down enable feature, it's a pain. Volante and Rubbernecker both have a dedicated TT footswitch, no wonder they are my faves.

Honestly, the AT Halo setting is the only one I loved out of the pedal. The other sounds were good but just couldn’t compare. AT and Keeley just knocked it out of the park with the Halo. I’d buy a Halo Core in a heartbeat if they do another run

I don't know. I haven't delved into the Halo. I'm a huge Keeley fan though, and I love the Mag Echo. For those who can't buy this, I'd suggest that instead. It is relatively cheap and sounds great! Try it and buy it. It's great.

Dang. I have the original Halo. But, it's probably 'too much' for me, and the core settings are all i actually want. Love the new case, those knobs, and the jewel. Nice-looking pedal-classic. Beautiful exercise in 'restraint' in design. Oh, well-i guess i will just have to find my Halo manual and deal with the 'extra' stuff! Halo: my favorite delay.

This is great. Love the look, especially the large red jewel light. Perhaps one day a new Halo with even more features than the original, like midi, separate tap tempo, ability to send tap signal to other pedals or separate expression and tap input (so you can use both), maybe also a different way to select presets on the fly. Just some thoughts. But that said the Halo (as it is) is my favourite delay pedal of all time and I’ve owned a lot. Keep up the fantastic work Keeley 😊

Went to get one 6hours after the video and I find “sold out” 🥲. Oh well. I never really bonded with the original due to the presets management (only goes Up, but not backwards, and no midi) so i couldn’t just keep it for one sound only. I liked it but it had to go. The Halo Core seems better and straight to the point. I wish to see the Halo Core back in stock. Congratulations Andy and Keeley.
