I absolutely love this pedal. 2024 was the best year the company ever had regarding product releases. The 4 in 1 series breathed new life into the stagnant dirt pedal scene. The Octa Psi combined two commonly paired effects and executed both remarkably well, perfect for shoegaze, doom, garage rock and classic rock. The Zoma usurped the Flint by providing improved dsp quality and controls. The Halo Core took an already beautiful delay and improved the dsp while simplifying the user experience. Now the Rotary is providing us with an affordable take on the rarely seen modulation style.

Keen to know what the overlap of speeds is between fast slow - ie. does fast pick up where slow leaves off? My issue with other pedals of this type (eg lex/pinwheel) is that there is a huge gap between fastest slow and slowest fast that can only meet in the middle by ramping. Been trying to replace my old Boss RT20 - does this perfectly but getting noisy in its older age.
@RobertKeeleyTV2 күн бұрын
Howdy, you can set the ramp speed yourself. It's an alt feature. You can set it for instant speed change, out to a few seconds... ;-)
@twangman2 күн бұрын
Thanks for so much for the fast reply, but doesn't quite answer the question - I guess what I'm really asking is what is the fastest fixed speed on the slow setting? Don't want to be tap dancing on the ramp if I can avoid it! Pretty sure I'm buying one regardless as it sounds incredible!
@RobertKeeleyTVКүн бұрын
@@twangman Howdy! You can set any speed you desire for the Slow Speed. It can be virtually stopped (0.6hz), or as fast as our pedal goes (6.6hz)! The "Fast" setting is where ever the large rate knob is physically set. You set the Slow speed by holding the Slow/Fast switch down and setting the rate however fast or slow you want it to be. It remembers it even after power off. Let me know if that helps!

95% Yes the same and a huge 5% that are sonic improvements since the BB collaboration.

I had the Keeley 'I Get Around" and ended up selling it because of the very noticeable volume drop when the pedal was engaged. Does this pedal have the same volume drop?
@darwinsaye5 күн бұрын
So this is the I Get Around pedal in a black case, right?
@RobertKeeleyTV5 күн бұрын
soo close, there are some small changes but all of the main features are the same. 3 way toggle in this for mid boost. And our latest, higher fidelity board. same dsp programing however. So a big heap of yes and a sprinkle of no.
@cortmiller4 күн бұрын
My only complaint about the new box layouts like this and the halo core is that they don’t have an expression pedal option. Especially for something like the speed on this. I know you could dial the big knob with your foot but an expression pedal would be much easier. Otherwise I love the new layouts
@RobertKeeleyTV4 күн бұрын
we are working on what will become our top tier pedal line and that will more than likely be at the $299+ price point and have Midi, Presents, and Expression/Remote control. Those products should start to become available sometime in 2025. I had hoped we would have something by the NAMM show, but I don't think so. lol

Is this the same as The Beach Boys - I Get Around Simulator? Whatever the case, it’s sounds fantastic!
@ImLordBaltimore5 күн бұрын
Curious about this too. The copy says it's a "brand new set of circuit boards" but the Beach Boys one came out pretty recently. Keeley himself hinted at the rotary in the last year. My guess is the licensing deal with The Beach Boys forced their hand to release that version before they released their default version? I'd almost guess they wouldn't want to admit it if this non-Beach-Boys version is different at all.
@RobertKeeleyTV4 күн бұрын
@@ImLordBaltimore n @jeffball6656 howdy! I've been fond of saying this is 95% what the BB rotary was and 5% something huge and new. That's becuase the new circuit boards have small changes to the circuit design that allowed us to increase our fidelity. We wanted to further distance from the BB stuff with a 3 way toggle instead of a 2way. We changed the order of the output jacks as well. both circuit boards are now different. The DSP is the EXACT SAME (thankfully - it sounds amazing and always has) except for some tiny exceptions like there are now 3 toggle switch settings, the tap tempo light flashes a certain way, write to the other output jack this time. So is it the same as the BB stuff, yes for the most part. We made some super cool changes in October after the BB pedals came out in June I think. Seems close in time, but that's how it played out.

The problem with this video is that it isn't in "Stereo" with LR panning. It was mostly in the left channel with natural room reverb. If it was used in stereo, then it should have been properly recorded in stereo. The recording didn't help the product. I'd prefer to hear the comparison between mono use and stereo use. That would be a true test of it's abilities.
@uwedasler4255 күн бұрын
Well, you can see throughout the video that there is only one cable plugged in - so, I doubt that it was 'used in stereo'. There will be a gazillion of reviews and demos of this that include stereo use; this was one player showing his use and (I guess) an amp in the room sound recorded using a smartphone... And I assume (!) for most people having mono setups this is more valuable / representative than some highly produced sound they will never hear themselves.
@tonepleb5 күн бұрын
This isn’t intended as a full product demo … just a few sound clip examples of how I would use the pedal. I’m sure you’ll find a stereo demo soon enough though.
