Sweetest pedal I have seen in a long time. Its got all the sounds of the late 60s built in to it. BRILLIANT!!!!

I love this demo. And I'm generally not a pedal guy but this is every retro 60's sound I love in one box. very very cool

I totally agree with everything single thing you said at the end of your video. Yes, yes, yes. I need one of these, pronto!

No you don't need this pedal. The pedal is way to compressed sounding and takes all the mids and lows out, leaving you with a very thin, flimsy whimper of tone. I recommend spending may $50-100 more and get a good wah, a good octave-fuzz (or fuzz & octaver), and a good vibe. You will sound way better. I bought the pedal hoping it would be a space saver (wow I can get fuzz, octave, wah and mods in one cool looking little box?), but I hear this pedal as a space-waster because I can't imagine when I would want to turn it on.

I gotta get one of these. It will sound great with my white coiled cable of coily cableness plugged into it..

Recommend try before you buy. I HATE this things over-compressed and way too trebly tone.

Im waiting for mine to show up in the mail so I can play the intro to Let It Loose, as that's the rotary sound I always hear in my head. Did I buy it for one effect ? Maybe, but there's other useful ones in there 😂 Well done sir 👍

So what do owners of this pedal think of it once the dust has settled?Pro Guitars demo was good, this is pretty good too as GMD doesn't use it to sound like Jimi. Mind you Jimi would have loved it.

Anyone else here with a Monterey pedal finding that the Mod side is VERY noisy? On all three settings, I am getting various alien space birds in the background... And the boost going Mod > Fuzz is HUGE. Like adding 10 dBs of loudness, whereas going Fuzz > Mod is a nicely balanced sound. I've listened to every video review while researching and didn't pick up on these discrepancies. Help !!

Can you get a Jerry Garcia type envelope sound out of this?
@luisfuentefdz7 жыл бұрын
I was thinking exactly the same...I think that if you use the auto-wha on the mid Rate (Q) range and a lil' bit the octave up or down You'll can get the auto wha envelope Jerry's style. I'm just can't wait to try it

Should the pedal be run right into the amp, or the effects loop?

Vincent Mileto I imagine in front unless you want to have the Rotary occur in the effects loop.

I gotta disagree. This pedal sounds way too compressed and the lack of tone control takes the mids- and lows out so all you get is this over-trebly under-enriched substance-less tone, especially when the fuzz is on. I thought I might use this pedal to save some pedalboard space, but I should have trusted my gut feeling that more functionality in a pedal generally means worse sound. It is far too much money to spend on shit sound -- you'd do better with a good octave-fuzz (or fuzz + octaver), a good vibe, and a good wah and spend only a little bit more.

Seems like you got a defective piece, most people seem to appreciate it.
@MrBallynally23 жыл бұрын
yes, the pedal seems to thin out the signal..
@kimhansen63846 жыл бұрын
You could have prepared this a little better. You managed to show a lot of completely unusable sounds by twisting the knobs randomly.
