@@annat5233 he's only been dancing for a few months what do they expect, he danced much better then one of the other and she was scored better. The chemistry was amazing, they can't forget the fact that Joe started from scratch unlike the others who had some experience, very little, however still experience. Fair enough about his score but viewers can't blame him for cheating, if it was a problem I'm sure they wouldn't have allowed the smoke to be there.

Judges know what they're talking about, they're dance experts. Sure, you can form your own opinion but chances are you simply miss many things they pick up on. It's the same as saying: just make your own opinion on string theory. You can but theorethical physicist's will still be more valid cause they are expert in the field. And yeah, I agree with judges Joe's Viennese and Argentie tango weren't good.

Wanting him to win and calling him out on technical shortcomings are not mutually exclusive. I know sod all about technique and I enjoyed both their dances tonight as far as entertainment, but I think given all the judges were in agreement on the quality of his dancing tonight I think it's fair to give those comments. It is supposed to be a dance competition after all.

@@TBelen91 Agreed. I'm an Ashley fan and even I could see she was struggling a bit with the Paso so I considered the 9s fair. I do think Joe was better than Lauren and deserves to go to the final along with Ashley, Faye and Stacey. When you compare Lauren to Joe or Stacey who all started at the same level, Lauren isn't up to their current level. She's absolutely lovely and I have so much respect for her doing this show but her dancing hasn't been as consistent as Ashley, Faye, Joe and Stacey's dancing.

the defining factor is that with all the remaining girls, if i didn’t know who was who, I doubt i could tell who was the pro and who was the celeb easily (i have no experience with professional dancing) but with Joe and Dianne i can definatly spot the difference almost immediately

I understand why people are unhappy with Joanne’s scores. Those dances were very beautiful and the chemistry is amazing! I always feel like, in previous dances, Joe has had either a slight stiffness or awkwardness at certain points, but I think neither of these dances had that. He looked so content and moved beautifully in my eyes. However, comparing the dances of the night, you have Stacy who the audience is going crazy for in every performance, same with Ashley, like you hear “wooo” all the time (the other blond girl too, don’t remember her name), their dances have a lot happening and are technically difficult, even if I don’t think Stacy is quite as amazing as she’s made up to be, there’s no doubt that the dances she’s doing are harder than what Joe is doing. I think Lauren has that sort of awkwardness as well, I’m not sure what the general opinion on her is since I’ve only watched this of her dances, but I liked Joe’s dances better just because they were more emotional in my opinion. In the end, though, I think people who are so upset with the scores need to consider that the judges compare not only previous performances but also to the other performances of the night. So while their waltz this week is by far my favorite dance with them, I can recognize that it’s not very technically advanced compared to the other waltz performed that night, same with their tango. While I of course wish for him to go on, I need to say that if he wins, it won’t be fair. The girls are doing stuff that’s more advanced and doing it beautifully. So people may continue to talk about it being rigged, but I don’t think that’s the main thing here.

I feel like Joe and Dianne definitely have the most Chemistry. I also feel like it's harder for male contestants because they have to lead a professional girl and you need a lot of confidence to do that (also I think it is especially hard for Joe cause he's so small and thin). Also Craig didn't like the first half of Stacey's VW as it was too American Smooth however he still gave it an 8!? I think that Joe would deserve to win, just like Stacey, Ashley and Faye. I also think that it is unfair to compare male and female contestant dances as they both need different skill sets. I also don't think that anything the girls are doing is more advanced than the stuff that Joe is doing. Btw Faye is the name of the celeb you forgot.

I’m sorry, I am a huge fan of Joe and absolutely adore Dianne, but I find it completely ridiculous reading all the comments saying that the show is biased towards the girls (Stacey, Faye and Ashley) but at the end of the day, Joes dances weren’t as technically good as those of another beginner, Stacey. I agree that Joe and Dianne’s dances are amazing considering he is a beginner, and very cute; I however really think that many fans have rose coloured glasses on when looking at his dances. You only have to look at his footwork compared to Stacey’s to see that he is just plainly not as good. That is not to say he doesn’t deserve the final but that is to say that it is completely justified and in my opinion, not at all biased, the lower score that Joe received (6 is a bit low but he def deserved a lower Schroeder than Stacey, Faye and Ashley). If anything, I think that he himself has been overmarked on numerous occasions, especially by Shirley and Bruno.

And you can tell the show is showing bias towards Stacy as they gave Stacy a Charleston which is a fun dance so obviously it will get higher marks for the entertainment factor.
