These two are actually genuinely talented and visionary musicians in the popular music landscape, and they get overshadowed by people with a tiny drop of the talent they have. As someone with a master’s degree in music it is so painful to watch people think they know what music is or what it takes. These two never cease to amaze me. I totally agree with you. He has such a personality that I think he brings out the best in all that engage him. How else could he successfully invite more than 30 well known artists for an album collaboration? And I think they all love him for it - namely, just the way he is and conducts himself. There's something to be said about "character before career". His mom did well by him.

So glad we're gonna get to see this live! I actually 100% no lie, bought some XM5s just to fully appreciate the sound on Djesse Vol 4 and let me tell you... It was the best $250 I ever spent.

They bring out the best in each other! Their musical compatibility unleashes such unlimited potential. Jacob's mind gives Tori's voice the space to flourish in a new way, and Tori's voice allows Jacob's creativity to come into fruition. Such a great team

Beyond all music considerations, I think Jacob Collier is an extraordinary human being. He is a musical genius, that's a fact, and he is always in a human relationship of full listening. Smile, sensitivity, empathy and an extraordinary efficiency, that I think must be found in all areas of his life. It's really outstanding.
