Keep It or Sell it? An insane, one-off, mk2 Golf GTI build. What to do?

Hey. Back in the days I used to own a mk2 '88 1.3 Digijet 55 PS. Overally nice little car but this engine was a crap, it was equiped with MPI that was specifically developed by VW and had a lot of issues. All these vaccums and sensors... I would like to have a 1.6 TD or some 1.8. This one from the video is just awesome. Regards.

I put the roof on that. Customer didn't want to cut the roof out so just deleted the sunroof section.

It’s a very nice build but despite it being so unique, probably won’t quite command the premium that a car with ‘GTI’ on the logbook would. If you still love it then keep enjoying it… if you’re unsure then prob time to tick another car off the bucket list. Colour is great - Is there a difference between this Milky Way red and the Mars red of the Mk1 GTI..?

For me, life’s too short to stick to one type of car. All cars offer something, whether positive or not! Try and try again ….. although I do get it that if this is sold, there’s no going back! I have no idea about the colour. Maybe someone who’s a Golf enthusiast can advise.
